5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I tried this game at the recommendation of a friend @ work. This game really is a lot of fun once you get the hang of the controls (I bought an XBOX 360 controller as the game was designed to be used with a console controller). Great graphics, great environment for playing the game, it's rock solid stable on my gaming rig, and as with any game, looks much much much better on a PC than a console.

Cons: I really can't think of any aside from needing to pick up a USB XBOX 360 controller to play it, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Gaming Rig: MSI K9A2 Platinum, Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.6GHz, ATI Radeon 4890 Crossfire (voltmodded & watercooled -- 975MHz core, 1080MHz mem), 4GB DDR2, Vista 32-bit.

I'm now very anxious for Assassin's Creed 2.

5 out of 5 eggsGood game

Pros: Great graphics, awsome gameplay, looks better on pc than xbox, and it's one of the funest rpgs i've ever played

Cons: Climbing walls is too slow i think, but the game is awsome anyway

Other Thoughts: some other reviews said that the controlls were wierd, but i think they are easy to use

5 out of 5 eggsFun game

Pros: Visually stunning even for a console port, has some DX10 features if your OS and video card supports it.
Controls are easy. No need to rapid tapping of keys. Basic keys are Shift, Space and WASDEF keys plus left and right mouse buttons. Not sure how people can't get past that.
Just a real fun game to play in my book.

Cons: I have to wait until Marn 2010 to see Assassin's Creed II on the PC for Windows.

Other Thoughts: Not sure about the DRM complaints? The game uses SafeDisc for copy protection. Just leave the DVD in the drive and there isn't any problem. No DRM software installs (such as StarForce) or anything crazy. Works like a charm in Windows 7 x64.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat game!

Pros: Awesome Game, outstanding visuals and graphics. gameplay is very comfortable, even on a keyboard. the extra missions are a plus too.

Cons: takes up a pretty good chunk of space on your harddisk

Other Thoughts: Great overall, but like most games, takes up a large amount of disk space...8+ GB of it. I have a TB so it's no problem for me, most people have alot of space now...need a good graphic card to really appreciate this game though. good gameplay and story, simply stunning.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This is a great game. It handles very well on the PC. I love the combat system. Essentially it is the combat system from Prince of Persia stripped down and then perfected. You have complete control of your character through combat. It takes a bit of time to get used to the combat system, but once you do it will be the new standard of melee combat perfection.

Cons: It can be a bit awkward at certain points with the viewpoint control. You can get stuck on walls because of this. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive.

Other Thoughts: The pros were so amazing that I couldn't even register any of the cons on my rating.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game, Great Concept, but gets a little repetitive.

Pros: This game lets you escape reality for a while and let your homicidal fantisies go into overdrive. You can get away with murder as much as you want.

-Fluid Game Play
-Beautiful Graphics
-Overall Great Concept
-Neat and fun moves

Cons: -Controls are slow sometimes
-Acting is So-So with most characters
-It take a High End card and CPU to experience the beauty of this game

Other Thoughts: Getting the controls set up the way you like them can be a pain at first, because you can't practice all the moves in the beginning of the game. Later when you earn different moves and weapons, you will find yourself changing or tweaking the buttons until it feels right for you.

The game can get real repeditive and it seems like there is no end in sight. But if you take your time and just relax into the environment, its a lot of fun.

Either take on every mission and explore or just take the main objectives and miss out on finding hidden features.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat game

Pros: The recreation of the Jersualem and Damascus are visually amazing, the detail that is in them is second to none. Running at near full tilt made it even better. It was extremely fun playing it. As well as a long game that took me a while to beat, which is a good thing, I hate games that have a short single player. Great story line to the game. Was set up for a sequal.

Cons: Controls are not very user friendly, its different from most games that you will play. Once you get used to them it gets alot better. The ride between different cities is kind of boring and gets old after awhile, but eventually you can skip that part. The main guy at the end, for me at least, was almost impossible to defeat. But can be defeated after you figure it out. Otherwise the game is quite a breeze to beat up to the last point.

Other Thoughts: Its not really a game that I would want to play a second time through, kind of like the first half-life. Just no inspiration to play through it agian. But is a great one time play, and for the price i would recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsToo bad you can't rent PC games.

Pros: Beautiful graphics. Amazing cityscapes. The environment is second to none, and everything looks great. It makes you feel like you are indeed wandering around ancient cities.

Cons: Too easy! I wish there was a difficulty setting, because I find that even when I completely screw up I can still kill all my attackers and escape safely without too much work. I wish I could turn it up a few notches to make it harder. I don't feel challenged. The voice acting is terrible as others have said. Exiting the game is a pain, you have to stop the game, then load your profile again to reveal the exit button. Controls are not as fluid as they could be. I think this game would be great with a controller, they didn't do a very good job setting up the controls for a keyboard/mouse. Camera angle is sometimes annoying, blocking your view with trees/walls, but very rarely.
If this was a console game, I would definately rank it as a rental. But, it at the current price, it's worth it just to see this beautiful game! I wouldn't have paid release prices for the game. Replayability just isn't there.

Other Thoughts: DRM issues don't help this game. People still pirate the game and legitimate users are hassled as mentioned in several other reviews here. My friend couldn't install his (retail) copy of the game, he kept getting an error caused by DRM. Customer service refused to help, and he can't return the game because he opened it.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor game

Pros: Recreation of Damascus and Jerusalem

Cons: Horrible controls, this is a console game not a PC game hard to play with mouse and keyboard. You need to press keys and click mouse no creativity just the faster you punch the more score. It's a waste of time

Other Thoughts: Horrible game stay away

1 out of 5 eggsCopy Protection!!!!

Pros: Couldn't tell ya....(see cons)

Cons: Never got past the install! With this so called copy protection not only would it not install on my PC it totally bogged my system down. Windows XP would not even boot, I had to go into safe mode and hit a restore point just to get everything working again. For the life of me I can't figure out how this happened, since I have brand new optical drives

Other Thoughts: I only paid 10 bucks for it on Black Friday at Best Buy so I'm not trippin too much. But since I cracked the seal on it I can pretty much forget about a refund. This whole copy protection and DRM is starting to work my nerves
