Features: New Orc Faction: First made famous in Dark Messiah Might and Magic, the brutal Orc faction now comes to the Heroes series. Savage, fiercely proud, and resolutely independent, the Orcs put the "might" in Might and Magic. This faction's troops include Orcs, Goblins, Cyclops and the famed Pao Kais.

New Campaign: Experience the dramatic conclusion of the usurper Biara's reign. Discovering the demonic influence that corrupts the Haven knights, the savage Orc clans will take up arms to eradicate the Inferno threat. Characters from Dark Messiah Might and Magic will also appear to bring an unexpected twist to this multi-layered plot. In addition, Tribes of the East will also feature 10 multiplayer and five single-player maps.

New Upgrade Level: Every creature in the Heroes V universe will get a second upgrade level, increasing the total number of creatures in the Heroes of Might and Magic V line to over 170! These powerful new abilities are sure to become an integral part of your combat tactics.

Extra Content: Expand your arsenal and gameplay with new spells, new artifacts, new buildings and innovative new features such as the combo-based Artifact Power Link and Battle Rage, the unique racial ability of the Orcs.

AI could be better, but you can say that about most games Other Thoughts: If anyone remembers Warlords from 1980s its very similar. I used to waste lots of time playing it back then. N/A 6/12/2011 10:51:54 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Classic series...what more can I say Pros: Been a loyal fan since Heroes 2, bought every subsequent game after...as expected it was quite fun and kept me entertained for a while Cons: the semi3-D view was bad, do yourself a favor and go to graphics setting and under camera select "classic view", it'll save you a lot of time and frustration. the battle with the half-bad 3D isn't doing so hot either, I'd much prefer the H-3 Style with nice 2D graphics instead of the not so real looking 3D fights. Same problem with all the Heroes series, some maps it gets annoying with enemies keep ninjaing your castle and no good way to deend it, H-4 was good with the castle defense but H-5 went back to the old way of 3x turrets siege mode, kind of lame. Well Heroes of Might and Magic 5 really brought the magical feel of the game back! Stand-alone also makes this great. Cons: The graphics engine in horrible inefficient. Even a beast of a computer will be slowed down at higher resolutions. Also the packaging for this is outright terrible. I love this game, but is game in a cardboard CD case. No book with beautiful art work. No place to put the CD after you open it. Other Thoughts: Being a stand-alone is also nice. Random Map generation is great. It's better than HoMM4.. Cons: Not sure about the rage of the new race. Makes the defend or wait options a hazardous thing.
