5 out of 5 eggsFun hard game

Pros: Great game play even though it is really hard to get thru each mission. Graphics are okay, not extremely detailed but enough for playing.

Cons: No way to cheat using codes. Many walkthroughs online, best way to get passed the difficult parts.

Other Thoughts: Price was good. Worth it!

4 out of 5 eggsChallenging, but good

Pros: Challenging, interesting, fun. You might die often if you're used to regular fps games, but it's fun once you get a hang of things. It's more realistic than most game since you die/kill easier. Your team is pretty good at killing enemies, so playing the game RTS style with the tactical map might be an option, though I haven't tried it.

Cons: Save checkpoints are far apart, so sometimes getting from point A to point B might take longer than you like. Also, your team might fall behind or get lost, so be careful. Doesn't have terrorist hunt mode like the XBox 360 version, but the campaign is all I really need.

Other Thoughts: "Windows 2000/xp (only)" still works on Vista if you're wondering. E8400 processor, Geforce 9600 gt, 4 gigs of ram, Vista Home Premium (64-bit). My first build. Runs WiC on highest with playable frame rates and under $800 including a few games.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as it should be

Pros: Although kinda old, the price is great and the graphics are still very nice.

Cons: Some graphical bugs, and poor AI for enemy and team can make things frustrating at times as a teammate walks infront of a mounted MG and swiftly gets cut down instead of moving into cover as directed.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad game, but there are definitely superior games out there. Consider R6: Las vegas instead, as this installment of the Ghost recon series doesn't live up to par.

2 out of 5 eggsFrustrating

Pros: Nice graphics, somewhat realistic weapons and tactics.

Cons: Don't care for a game where one bullet from the enemy AI kills you, and you have to replay the same sequence over and over and over...Yes, may be the most realistic, but in real life rarely does one shot from a bad guy kill you unless they are an experienced sniper. You play this game paranoid to the point you cannot have fun. The COD games (all of them except for maybe WOW) are much more enjoyable. The com system with your floating droid is pretty much useless. You can get through the missions, but in many it requires relentless sneaking around the maps picking off enemy AI one at a time, which takes literaly hours. The whole concept of having to protect your squad mates so they don't get killed is tedious.

Other Thoughts: If you are super an*l and do not mind spending hours in a mission, and replaying it 3 or 4 times, (and want this type of challenge), then this game is for you.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Hard, Very Good

Pros: First off: this is my first experience with a GR game

The game is hard... Probably one of the hardest I've ever played. Strangely enough this kept me coming back to it, I don't know why.

the game's graphics are quite good, explosions especially. Guns are varied and interesting. The tactical map system is very good, though you don't realize this at first. Story is decent though nothing spectacular, one or two interesting twists here and there.

Incredibly satisfying when you pull off a mission succesfully or get past that tricky checkpoint

Cons: Alot of this has already been said: checkpoint system is frustrating, friendly AI can get stuck and are sometimes just plain stupid, the game is quite tough. There is a very steep learning curve, I can honestly say I didn't really "get it" until the second to last mission. I'm hoping to pick up GRAW2 for the very purpose of using the tactics I picked up while in GRAW again.

Also, I can't figure out for the life of me why, if you see an enemy, a red diamond wouldn't appear around them like if one of your teammates sees one. Never made sense to me.
Fear the mounted gun placements.

Other Thoughts: take my advice, if you are ever issuing orders from the tactical map, put the markers and directions where you want them but do not execute the command yet. Execute the command or commands through cross-com (there should be a new option to "execute" if there are orders in queue at the tactical map screen). Strangely enough, the friendly AI seems to find it's way around much better this way. Also, use the cover command ALOT, and make sure you face your teammates in the direction you expect enemies. They are much better at spotting enemies than you are, use that to your advantage. Also, take out mounted machine guns with either sniper or grenade, it just isn't worth it otherwise.

If you can't tell, I very much enjoyed this game, only gets an egg off for dumb friendly AI and unrealistically clear sighted enemies (I mean really mounted machine gun guy, you can see me from a mile away?? I'm in camo for goodness sake and creeping on the ground)

3 out of 5 eggsOK for a day or two

Pros: Pretty graphics and immersive environment. The AI is believable and sniping is sweet.

Cons: frustrating save system can kill the enjoyment out of this game quickly. not to mention that the load time even further this problem.

Other Thoughts: Over all it's a nice game but forgettable. Pick another like Mass Effect. You will be happier with your decision.

4 out of 5 eggsDifferent

Pros: Graphics, physics, gameplay

Cons: physics isn't really physics, but rather interactive surroundings. don't get me wrong though, it's still pretty sick

Other Thoughts: If you are a Battlefield type of guy (like me) and you go charging into the fight screaming your head off and guns a-blazin' then it will take you some time to get used to GRAW. The first mission I flipped when I got killed in like two bullet hits, but then again the whole point of the game is to be tactical and stealthy, not scramble around a 64 player map killing and dying left and right.
I gave this a four out of five because sometimes, you just really really wish you can just revive your dead squad mate with a defibrilator or go on 'nading sprees

5 out of 5 eggsGreat game even better MP

Pros: Cheapest price anywhere in the WORLD. MP experience is one of the best I've seen in a while. Great graphics if you have the rig. Very good cut-scenes.
NEWEGG, how do you do it?

Cons: I'd rather have a digital download. Can't jump in game at all, takes a bit to figure out how to play and command your guys.
Friend I was playing MP with has an older graphic card. He couldn't see through the chain link fences. LOL, I just kept owning him shooting through the fence and he quit.

Other Thoughts: STEAM has all the Ghost recon series for $20 if you wanna play the older GR games. I didn't have them so I went steam. You want this game, and for the price you have to get it. Ditch your torrent (I did) and play the MP.
