5 out of 5 eggsWonderfully fun - wonderfully Star Wars

Pros: Great game - both land and space strategy.
Wonderful use of the Star Wars Franchise. Unique and brilliant, bringing a lot of change and concepts to the Strategy genre.

Cons: No real 'cons' persay.

Other Thoughts: There's a bit of a learning curve, because there really isn't a game quite like it. I'd buy it if you enjoy strategy games, even if it is a bit old. The gameplay far outweighs the graphics, and those still look pretty good.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great game if you are a Star Wars Fan a must have. Graphics look great, a thinking persons game.

Cons: The expansion will not work with Vista x64 out of the box. Must google work around to get it to work. Lucasarts not supporting fix for Vista x64.
Only four eggs due to the problem.

Other Thoughts: Once Vista x64 work around is installed expansion also cool.

Newegg delivery and service the best as always.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not alwasy work with Vista

Pros: Empire at War works fine but ...

Cons: ... for some reason I am not able to play the Forces of Corruption expansion. There are several threads on the developer's forums with people in the same boat. I recommend you get your Star Wars fix elsewhere.

4 out of 5 eggsWho's the more foolish?

Pros: Great game with a fun storyline and unprecedented mod community. Considering the actual age of EAW and FOC, graphics are good and gameplay is a lot of fun.

Cons: Vista 64 users with 4gb or more RAM must manually limit memory in msconfig to play Forces of Corruption. Lucasarts says they're looking at fixing this, but don't bet the farm on it happening. Gets kind of frustrating having to reboot to play a game.

Other Thoughts: A little short-sightedness is forgivable when the programmers were building this game in a world where 64-bit computing was still unrealistic -yeah, it's that old- and the blend of performance, gameplay, and modability (for lack of a better term) make the game worthwhile.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally They Got It Right

Pros: Lucas Arts tried a few other times to make a Star Wars RTS game, but this is the first one that was done right. The space battles are exciting, the ground battles are tense, conquering the galaxy (or saving it) is constant struggle against your enemies, the hero units are helpful, the graphics are pretty good for an RTS and the story is connected to the movies, so fans will enjoy it. I know I did. The price is a steal.

Cons: Some of the voices sound off (not the original actors) and some of the unit dialogue is lame. The ground battles, while fun (especially with AT-ATs), can easily turn boring once you defeat the first wave of enemies. I wish I had bought this sooner.

Other Thoughts: I am running Vista x64 and it runs nice and stable. I guess for once the "Games for Windows" initia works. Be wary of Ewoks. Now, if only Petroglyph would do a G.I. Joe RTS... hmm... are you reading this Hasbro?

5 out of 5 eggsBest game yet for Star Wars fans

Pros: If you've bought all the Star Wars games like I have, you'll find that this is by far the best one so far. This game is very similar to Star Wars Rebellion that came out a while ago, but much better. By far the best part of this game is the space battles, WOW! They look so cool, and have realistic laser fire. The graphics are awesome and you can zoom in and use neat camera perspectives to have really neat battle views.

Cons: Land battles are lame. Some aspects of the game are kinda silly, like "heroes" can come back to life after a while, and star destroyers replenish tie fighters during battles. Has a few issues with Vista 64 bit, but still works fine for the most part.

Other Thoughts: Really love this game. Best Star Wars game I've played to date. Good after market updates, mods, and maps.
