I like that it makes an external drive bootable so you can restore outside of Windows if necessary, even though you can only backup inside Windows. Cons: VSS errors indicating it's 32 bit requester can't call 64 bit VSS, which means it's backup files are worthless. NTI's website implys that it should work with 64 bit Windows, but that's obviously not the case. 51061 5/18/2010 7:28:21 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 1/5Not a good solution Pros: It's inexpensive. Restorations are quick. Cons: It doesn't work well. Back ups are unreliable, and the process makes some sort of change to system configuration so that "Last known good configuration" must be chosen when rebooting after a back up. Tech support is a joke; when they did reply to questions I asked, they didn't know the answer. Does not test backups. Other Thoughts: Back up software should be rock-solid reliable. The last thing you want to have to do is continually test your backups to make sure they're viable. This software also gives you no way of testing except for doing an actual restore. Backup files are in a proprietary format that cannot be opened, even by NTI; the only way to access any files on a system back up is to do the full restoration. If your most recent backup file isn't recognized by the program to use as a restoration, there's no way to access any of the files in the archive; you have to go back to the most recent backup file that is recognized.
