Do you like dags?
- Pros: Got this as a Christmas present for my sister (16), and she loves it. The little puppies on the screen react to having their name called and whistled to through the DS mic. They actually learn their name, which is pretty cool. You can choose from more than just a labrador.
- Cons: She loves her Nintendog more than our real dog...
- Other Thoughts: Definitely aimed at girls. I can play it for a minute or two, but us boys (and grown men too of course) like more action oriented games.
love it
- Pros: who doesnt love a puppy and one that nevers grow up in age.
- Cons: you have to do something with you puppy everyday to be a great trainer.
- Other Thoughts: I got my puppy to do a somersault and backflip
Nintendogs is incredible
- Pros: This game is made by the master mind behind Mario, so you get an idea of how great it is. You can teach your dog tricks and he/she will respond with voice commands. You can enter a frisbee contest and earn cash to buy your pet accessories. Get two dogs and throw a toy infront of them and watch them play, it is incredible how much the developers at Nintendo captured the animations and likeness of puppie behavior.
- Cons: Great game for kids might wear thin for adults. Not a game for 'twitch' run and gun type players.
- Other Thoughts: This is the first game to take advantage of all the DS features that make it great.
