Acronis True Image Home 2012 - 1 User For System Builder - OEM

Pros: Don't know couldn't install.

Cons: Is NOT compatible with Win 8.

Other Thoughts: You have to buy the 2013 addition to be compatible with Win 8.

Pros: Works fine IF you read the manual. Excellent Tech support. They stick with you until problem is solved.

Cons: Complex but so is any comparable backup software.

Pros: i have three computers and all...all have acronis true image home 2012 on them....and i've never had a problem with
recovery , multi partition backup nor schedule backups

Other Thoughts: the only problem i've had was when i deleted the backup with out going through the acornis path for deleting
(i,e. i backed up C:DRIVE ON G:DRIVE FOLDER A-TRUE IMAGE AND DELETED IT BY GOING RIGHT TO G:DRIVE FOLDER ATRUE IMAGE AND DELETED IT NOT USING THE RIGHT CLICK FROM RECOVERY AND DELETED IT THERE
IT SHOWS ERRORS AND CORRUPTION)THE ONLY ISSUES I'VE HAD.

Pros: After upgrading patches 2012 works reasonably well tho I seldom use this version.

Cons: Early versions of 2012 are buggy. Boot recovery disks failed to work until upgrade patch is loaded or iso file downloaded. Backup images in 2012 not compatible with earlier versions. Not as user friendly as earlier versions. Got so frustrated with 2012 that I uninstalled and reverted back to 2011 version which is a wonderful product, easy to use and reliable product. To top things off they want you to pay for post 30 da support to resolve their bugs. Am very sorry to see Acronis seems to be going downhill as their earlier products were much better.

Other Thoughts: My review is based on a TIH 2012 upgrade and earlier products bought directly from Acronis. Been using Acronis products since 2009 and have been very very disappointed with their downhill slide. When I need a backup image I totally rely on the 2011 product. It's like going from WinXp to Vista, newer isn't always better.

Cons: Can't make simple disk image. After hours of working tells you that can't make backup.

Other Thoughts: Used previous versions of acronics for last 8 years, never had a problem. Now they are making junk. No acronics anymore for me.

Pros: Works really well, very useful and is easy to use

Cons: Doesn't work with win 8 and Acronis is not updating it. Instead they expect you to but a new liscence for TI 2013. They should advertize this or fix it.

Other Thoughts: Shame on Acronis but ive switched to a free product that does the same work. Will not purchase an Acronis product anymore

Cons: At best, it constantly crashes. At worst, the program doesn't work at all. I've used Acronis products for years, but this is the final straw. They've lost me as a customer.

Pros: I have used the 2010, 2012 and 2013 versions and have had no problems. I recently bought a new HP laptop and swapped the C drive with a new SSD drive. I used Acronis to first backup the C drive and then "restored" it onto the SSD drive. Absolutely no problems.

Cons: Interface can be a bit confusing, especially when you need to resize partitions in the case of cloning/restoring between to different sized drives. But if you know what you're doing, the product will function as advertised.

Pros: I downloaded Acronis from the Western Digital website. If you buy a W.D. disk, it is free. I am pretty sure that Seagate does the same thing.

I have backed up and restored numerous drives with no problems.

Cons: None, as long as you are buying hard drives from the company that gave you the software. ;)
