Acronis 250 GB Online Backup 90 day Subscription

Pros: I will hopefully be able to return them for a full refund.

Cons: Not a full product as implied by the web copy at the time.
Can't give it less than 1 star.

Other Thoughts: I was really excited for the opportunity to snag some copies of Acronis True Image 2013 for only $9.99. That's what the Shell Shocker deal implied, as my invoice clearly states "Acronis True Image 2013 w/ 250 GB Online Backup 90 day." The key is that "w/" - It implies that what preceded "90 day" was the 250GB Online Backup portion, not both portions of the software.

In fact, I wish I had taken a screenshot of the product description, because it really did read like it was a full version that also had a trial cloud element.

I am really incensed that this wasn't as advertised. What I got shipped was a slip of paper with no unique serial number or anything. There's no reason they had to waste paper and ink on this when it could have been a digitally-delivered link.

Did I mention I'm irate? If you charge me a restocking fee and require me to ship these pieces of paper back to you at my own expense I will seriously lose it.

Cons: This item was part of a shell shocker deal. It's original description was "ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE 2013 W/OL BU 90D". But Newegg changed the description and I never got my software. Only after agreeing to accept a refund and not the software did they admit they made a mistake.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed with the service I received.

Pros: By bundling it with other softwares, I ended avoiding buying the softwares and save my money.

Cons: It is just useless and a waste of time.

Other Thoughts: I hope they do not bundle this thing with other products, even for free. I just cannot look at it.

Use google backup, linux already have it set up.

Whoever did the marketing for this product and use the word cloud must not know the difference between bit and byte. Nice drawing though, and I just throw all 6 of this backcrap in the crapper.

Cons: This was misleadingly described as a copy of the Acronis software plus a free trial. In fact they send you a large box containing a small piece of paper, with an URL to sign up for the free trial of the Acronis service. That could just as easily have been sent electronically. I was able to return it for a refund (in a letter envelope rather than a cardboard box), but they charged by $3.

Pros: Acronis has had a good reputation in the past but online reviews of 2012 & 2013 software have been disappointing.

Cons: THIS IS NOT A FULL COPY OF THE SOFTWARE! The initial listing implied it was a copy of Acronis 2013 and 90 day trial of online storage. This is incorrect. You are actually paying for NOTHING (yes really). It's actually a 90 day trial key for the software that is available to everyone for free.

Other Thoughts: If you order this you receive a envelope with a slip of paper directing you to a URL web address that available to everyone (not secure). I have spent HOURS on CS trying to get my order resolved and refunded. Newegg has really dropped the ball on this. I've been very, very disappointed.

Cons: They are selling you a 90 day trial of both Acronis True Image 2013 and the 250 GB Online Backup!

Other Thoughts: I thought it was a retail license for True Image 2013 and then a trial for the online backup. All I got was a slip of paper to a special Acronis website. When I contacted Newegg about the missing serial # I was told it was a trial. And they had to make an exception to allow me to send them back the slip of paper without paying shipping!
