5 out of 5 eggsNote, Free upgrade from 2015 to 2016 which DOES work with Windows 10 (link below)

Pros: Worked great to clone OS from one ssd to a larger one

Worked great to clone Windows 10 from one SSD to a larger SSD
It will even do backups to external storage of choice.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: (to save install/uninstall time) create account and register your 2015 version Key at offical site first, than go to link below and input "2015 keycode" and ur email to get a code and link for the 2016 version (no need to even install the 2015 at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price!

Pros: Essential software! Just now getting a second SSD and I have to move my OS to a 3rd disk to set up RAID on my SSD's. I like that it serves multiple purposes so after I move my OS back and forth, I can still use the software to back up my system.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this JUNK --- Acronis True Image 2015 - DOES NOT WORK - Win 10 Pro 64bit clean install

Pros: NONE - JUNK AVOID the hassle, get something else, this product does not work.

Would not even give this junk 1 egg, but Newegg forces you to chose at least 1 egg.

Cons: Uploaded the latest version even though I bought a disk. Failed with error code when I tried to use software after installing. Error code given by the software was not found on the Acronis website???? After 2 plus hours of reading documents, searching Acronis & other sites - NO Solution was found.

So, on a NEW OS install of Windows 10 Pro 64bit, after installing my PAID copy of Acronis and entering a 64 digit security code, the software fails to work and the error code thrown has no known document on Acronis's website.

The latest version of True Image 2015, I downloaded from Acronis and it is supposed to work with Windows 10 - it DOES NOT WORK

Other Thoughts: My technical skills are very high; been in the IT realm for over 20 years.
Acronis True Image 2015, fails to work on a clean install of Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

The error code thrown by the software, has no corresponding document on Acronis's website.

AVOID the PAIN, avoid the product, it is junk and NOT properly supported with documentation on Acronis's website.

1 out of 5 eggsImpossibly Difficult To Use

Pros: I guess millions and millions of features

Cons: Impossible to use and very difficult to find help. I purchased this product and did faithful backups. When the SDD died a few weeks ago I slipped in the identical replacement hoping to make short work of the failure.
I have been trying for 2 weeks to use Acronis True Image 2015 or Recovery Backup to rebuild the machine with zero success. No easy to use wizard and thousands of choices. You're expected to go find drivers to build a recovery disk. After trying thousands of driver choices in the host Win 7 HP machine as well as building Win AIK software to build a WinPE disk I gave up. Neither the Linux nor the WinPE offering would build a usable CD or DVD. When I tried using the Windows based True Image 2015 app, it wouldn't see the C drive. When I went online to look for help I found a daunting set of byzantine web pages for thousands of variants of the software and thousand of permutations and applications for each of these. When I finally found a user forum I put in a detailed explanation of my dilemma hoping to get an answer - but I have yet to see an answer. I'm ready to throw in the towel. I have built my own Windows and Linux machines for over 20 years and have a fair idea of how to build and re-build things but after a miserable non-stop 2 weeks trying to rebuild the machine I only have enormous frustration and no success. When you buy the product you get a limited amount of time to get support desk help. I guess I should have backed up and then tried to do a rebuild right then and there so I got the support needed before my window closed. I purchased last June, so as I write this I'm several months out of support with a 5 month old unusable piece of junk. Buy this product very carefully and test all aspects of it before you need it. Take a look at their web pages before trying to use it to see if you can work with it. I can't and I only say that after spending 2 solid weeks trying to use it.

Other Thoughts: Why is there no Wizard or other easy to use tool for those of use not rebuilding a networked VM machine in a RAID array or other such wild complications - just a single workstation with a single disk? Why a 64 digit activation code? Even MS is 1/2 the size.

3 out of 5 eggsRemoved Functionality

Pros: UI is improved comparing to 2014 version.

Cons: Try and Decide feature is removed. It was available in version 2014 and I found that is back again in 2016 version.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Recommend

Pros: I honestly cannot think of a pro when compared to previous versions of True Image or Macrium Reflect

Cons: Totally unnecessary new interface is problematic and difficult to understand.

Other Thoughts: Acronis True Image no longer restores a Windows 10 usable image for me. I am forced to seek an alternative image backup/restore application.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Ready For Prime Time

Pros: Acronis True Image 2014 works fine. I don't want an intrusive, bloated software running in the background. AFAIK, all automated backup routines fit this description. Therefore, I use only the Rescue Media portion of Acronis (I install, activate, create Rescue Media, then uninstall). One of the main benefits of Acronis is that it automatically resizes the image to fit larger or smaller hard drives. I've never had a problem with it in this type of operation. I moved to Acronis when Ghost started having problems some years ago (maybe it's okay now).

Cons: Rescue Media for 2015 does not recognize the same 2TB USB 3.0 hard drive that 2014 had no problem with (does not recognize it as a restore source or a backup destination). Check the forums -- this is a documented problem not addressed by Acronis in their latest update (6525). Until they resolve this problem, the product is unusable. I've gone back to Acronis 2014 which works fine.

Other Thoughts: I realize there are some astonishingly good free cloning software out there. I guess I should investigate if there is an easy, foolproof way to clone and resize. Imaging to a larger drive using free software is a two-step process ... I know of nothing but Acronis or Ghost (and a few other less-known paid software) which can do this in one step, and I know of no free software which can automatically resize an image to a smaller drive.
