4 out of 5 eggsFun game, beware of Gltiches

Pros: Fun and easy to control.

Cons: Constantly has glitches. Only one of my cards in Crossfire will run with this game so I am stuck at lower settings. The game randomly might decide all of your forces are dead even if they aren't, or other random things. its quite strange.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Experience!

Pros: I came into this series late because I was still having so much fun with my other Total War series games that I could afford to wait for this bad boy to drop in price. I have been a fan of Total War since Rome came out all those years ago. The graphics are great and the strategy and AI is much improved from past games. Battles have a much faster pace, being more arcade than all the previous titles, but not as fast as Rome 2 has come to be. When I think of all this game has to offer, I instantly think of the word unique. Its a fun and new experience and I love that the game is so focused on one location. This allows for a much more in-depth political and economical strategy game. If you like strategy and the other Total War games, you'll love this one. Also, love playing multiplayer campaigns with my friends!

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game

Pros: Fun game, you get exactly what you expect from a Total War game. Looks great if your rig can support the battles on the high settings with thousands of units.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Before I bought it I had to research which dlc's come on the disk. So I'll save you some time. It's the full game, plus the two expansions Rise of the Samurai, and Fall of the Samurai. They each are a stand alone campaign with many playable factions. However it does not include ANY of the extra clans for any for the campaigns, and the special units that come with the add on packs. So you will be at a *slight* disadvantage when you go online to versus. I have fought, and beaten, many opponents without the extra powerful units. It's a STRATEDGY game and it's balanced as such-more powerful unit=costs more to field. This, in turn, is a trade off for less men on the field. Anyway, I thought I would negate some worries about the raging trolls that say that they can't win without them, when they really suck and don't want to learn real battlefield tactics. Oh, and you have to play it on Steam.

P.S. You may want to get this instead of Rome 2 for a while. Rome is still in it's early stages and kinda sucks right now and is unplayable for some (including me-some glitches froze the game and there were a lot of graphical loading issues that only got kinda resolved with patch 3). After a few months, and patches, then I highly recommend that game too.

4 out of 5 eggsShogun Fall of the Samari

Pros: When I play this game, I look over at the clock and its 3 a.m.
Absolutely fantastic in the realm of governing and diplomacy, extremely deep. The game play, functionality, story line, and graphics are out of this world when in battle. This was my first ever total war game, but I was able to pick it up quick. Now that I've played this one I can't wait for Rome 2 to come out.

Cons: The only reason I gave this game 4-5 stars is because I bought the "fall of the Samurai." expansion, which stated that it had the full Shogun 2 game with it, it did not. I am still extremely happy with the game and I didn't pay much for it. In hind sight I would by this GOLD EDITION! It was only few dollars more and it claims to include (Shogun 2, Rise of the samurai and Fall of the Samurai.) For what I paid for the expansion it was well worth it, but now that I've beat it I wish I would have got the whole version. Also why does it need to have 40gbs of my hard drive? How big is the full version? Either way for small price you will have 100+ hours of quality entertainment.

Other Thoughts: Buy the gold edition its well worth the extra few bucks!
