Features: It's been two years since Jackie Estacado, now Don of the Franchetti crime family, used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend's murder. He's been unable to shake the memory of Jenny's death since bottling up his supernatural power and now The Darkness wants out. A sudden, unprovoked attack on Jackie's life heralds the start of a full-scale mob war which has clearly been orchestrated by some outside force. The botched attempt opens the door for The Darkness to reemerge, and sets Jackie on a journey to hell and worse as he unravels the mystery behind the attack and the motivations of The Darkness itself.

whocaresanyway 11/30/2012 3:01:39 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Fun Pros: 10 hours of gameplay on hardest setting includeing new game + being beatin-less then excellent but i got it for 5 bucks sooo its epic! graphics are ok not the best, gameplay was great made up for grtaphical shortfalls add in a descent story with some cool dark twisted gory killin and its perfect. Cons: the cut scenes for the demon arm kills get old, but nothing you cant live with. Other Thoughts: buy it on sale and you'll probably find it well worth the money. Cons: If you run in a Window, the Graphics options and set-up can be kind-of a hassle. Also, having to use the Steam Client is quite annoying, in my opinion (although I hear there are some perks to that as well). Other Thoughts: Absolutely GREAT game! Did you find this review helpful? But someone saying it will not run on a "somewhat high end system" is silly. My 10 year old son plays on an old ATI 4850 with 512 of memory. He has no issues. Cons: I have a relativly high end system with a AMD video card 5770, the game will not run past the beginning movie, I have read on the forums that AMD cards do not run the game well, when I read the requirements I also noticed that AMD cards didn't seem to be supported. Luckily I only paid $10.00 for the game it is probably not even worth that much. Other Thoughts: I also have read that there are some tweaks that may get the game to run but I think it is ludicrous that you have to tweak the stupid settings to even get the game to run.
