This Bioshock Triple Pack includes BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite.

BioShock is the "genetically enhanced" first person shooter that lets you do things never before possible in the genre: turn everything into a weapon; biologically mod your body with plasmids, hack devices, and systems; upgrade your weapons and craft new ammo variants; and experiment with different battle techniques.

Follow-up to BioShock, BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter set in the fictional underwater city of Rapture. As in the original game, BioShock 2 features a blend of fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving as players follow varying paths through the overarching storyline based on the decisions that they are forced to make at various points in the game. In addition to a further fleshing out of the franchise's popular storyline, players can look forward to new characters, game mechanics, weapons, locations and a series first, multiplayer game options.

BioShock Infinite is set in 1912. Players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia to rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret.

  • newegg Turn everything into a weapon Turn everything into a weapon: the environment, your body, fire and water, and even your worst enemies. BioShock's free form combat options allow gameplay scenarios to be approached with a variety of weapons, active and passive plasmids, environmental objects utilization, exploitation of political alliances, or a combination of techniques. Find your style but know when to adapt.
  • newegg Evolution of the Genetically Enhanced Shooter Innovative advances bring new depth and dimension to each encounter. New elements in BioShock 2, such as the ability to dual-wield weapons and Plasmids, allow players to create exciting combinations of punishment.
  • newegg Return to Rapture Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the story of BioShock 2 continues with more intense journey through one of the most captivating and terrifying fictional worlds ever created.
  • newegg You Are the Big Daddy Take control of BioShock’s signature and iconic symbol with the original prototype Big Daddy, and experience the power and raw strength of Rapture’s most feared denizens as you battle powerful new enemies.
  • newegg Discover Columbia in BioShock Infinite The city of Columbia was built by the US Government in the late 1800s to serve as a floating world’s fair. The city was sent to travel from continent to continent and show the rest of the world the success of the American experiment. Unknown to most, Columbia was also a “death star,” secretly packed with weaponry. Political strife caused Columbia to secede from America and the city disappeared. No one knows how to get to Columbia.
  • newegg Explore the Sky-Lines The Sky-Lines were initially built as a means for shipping and moving cargo in Columbia, but the city’s youth quickly found a way to use them as a death-defying means of movement. As the struggle between factions in Columbia intensified, they become not only a method of transportation but also a facilitator of combat. In the second BioShock Infinite gameplay demo, you saw Booker maneuver through a system of interweaving Sky-Lines to outwit and outmaneuver his foes.

Features

Feature
BioShock
BioShock is a shooter unlike any you've ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to grenade launchers and chemical throwers, but you'll also be forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you. Injectable plasmids give you super human powers: blast electrical currents into water to electrocute multiple enemies, or freeze them solid and obliterate them with the swing of a wrench.

BioShock 2
Follow-up to BioShock, 2K Games' critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2007 release, BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter set in the fictional underwater city of Rapture.

BioShock Infinite
Indebted to the wrong people, and with his life on the line, hired gun Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat series, good value

Pros: The Bioshock series has a great feel to it. If you like deep stories in a fascinating setting, these games are worth a play-through.

Cons: The controls/balancing can be a little strange transitioning between the Bioshocks, especially if you are Melee focused. (Like I tend to be)

Worth mentioning, but definitely not worth removing an egg.

Other Thoughts: Infinite looks great on a 4k monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsBioshock series is amazing!

Pros: Pros:
-Great graphics
-Different kind of game than your average FPS game
-Different vigors and combinations to try out
-Love the plot and story line it's just amazing and the endings are absolutely plot twisting or nerve wrecking
-Really old school/classic weapons

Cons: Cons:
-Non really just make sure you're playing on the right settings for your PC or else this game will feel super sluggish.

Other Thoughts: I absolutely love the Bioshock series and I'm pretty late on this series, but I hope they continue the series.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent First Person Shooter

Pros: Lots of great times here. Bioshock 1 is the most different first person shooter you will ever play. This game has a lot going on and a lot of weapons at your disposal. It really takes some time to get used to it all, but it is well worth it! I have not played Bioshock 2 and 3 yet, but they look to be just as much fun.

Cons: This is a minor: I have DSL at 6 meg the highest ATT offers and it still took many hours to download all 3 games. The games have to be downloaded using the Steam GUI and you have to have/open an account with them. It is free and painless except for the long downloads. If you have less than 6 meg I would set it up to do it overnight.

Other Thoughts: I bought this when they were offering it for 15 dollars. It seems to come around at that price quite often, so setup a price alert and Newegg will let you know when it is at that price. Well worth only $15 even if you have to deal with Steam! FYI: make sure you backup your game so you never have to download again.
