Took over 6 hours to scan. Wants to set automatic renewal. License good for 1 year year. Other Thoughts: I would try the trial version first to see if it finds anything useful. Paul S. 7/20/2012 10:12:18 AM Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 1/5No it doesn't This review is from: iolo Search and Recover Pros: Found old home-business info that had been erased as well as a lot of other old data. Wanted it removed securely.... Cons: After cleaning I did another search and the program still found all the info and files. Even with >6 overwrites, still found info. Tried to recover a couple, and if it was a .jpg or .doc then ok. But it could not restore a system file or much of anything else. It was there, just not usable. Found an old deleted .mov from a vacation, could not restore it, just individual frames. I did not originally buy this from Newegg, but I buy enough here. DON'T WASTE TIME ON IOLO. Other Thoughts: Oh yeah, almost forgot...Kaspersky thinks the installer from disc is a virus, had to contact Iolo to get a download copy (that part was free at least, just time consuming). Danielle B. 11/22/2008 6:30:06 AM Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 5/5Completely New This review is from: iolo Search and Recover Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to do, and nothing more (i.e. it's safe to use). Cons: In "sector" search mode it is very slow. I expect this and it is an indication that it is being thorough. Other Thoughts: iolo's previous version of "Search and Recover" v4 was #*&^#. I only got this because I use their "System Mechanic" product and I was curious. This appears to be a completely new product. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
