iolo System Mechanic Professional - Unlimited PCs (install it on all your home PCs)

Pros: I started using SMPro way back before it became so user-friendly. It is still a Geek-ette's dream, but now it's easier to use, and much harder to inadvertantly harm your system. I go to many places on the 'net that harbor malware, and I've been delighted at all the crud that the anti-malware feature has stopped. The tools seem comprehensive and well-organized, there are tutorials for people who want them, and there is even a nifty desktop gadget you can install if you want--it alerts you to problems without having to go look for them! I took one of my computers with SMPro on it in for a 'free checkup' out of curiosity, and their software found NO problems. I have also used Fix-it Tools intermittantly, but I prefer the way SMPro integrates individual tools for the option of completing many related tasks at once--this is really handy for setting up a new computer (or when you reload the OS), or when you just need to run less frequent maintenance tasks. The scheduler is easy and reliable, allowing time- and resource- consuming maintenance tasks to run at YOUR convenience (mine run while I'm at work or asleep). SMPro makes it easy for me to keep everything in tip-top shape, from registry keys to device drivers, and disc surface scans and defragging. I've been able to rely on it to search for updates, and stop the individual services from loading at boot-up--and that makes for a faster boot-up and more available machine resources for what you are trying to accomplish. There is even a tool specific to solid state drives that is tailored to the particular needs of SSDs. I like that SMPro seems to take up fewer resources, and is clearer about what exactly it's doing than other 'user-friendly' maintenance packages (like the one with 360 in the name).

Cons: Gee, I can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: After recommending it to my 'older' parents (dad is in his 70s now), they started using it and he likes it really well. Mom is still a tad 'out of the loop' but the program is easy enough to use that I can walk her through it on the phone.

Pros: System Mechanic Pro this is a one shop stop in PC protection, its the best one that I have use out of 4 diffrent ones that i have bought I have had this product for 5 years an I'm HOOKED

Cons: just takes time to play with it to get a good understand of it I'm NOT A PC GEEK

Pros: I have used System Mechanic Professional for 5 years on my home PC's. This program is very user friendly and keeps my PC maintained and protected. This is a must have product if you want top of the line protection and automated maintenance for your PC. I like the feature that lets you run program on multiple PC's without no problems!! System Mechanic has kept all my PC's running faster and more efficient for 5 years trouble free!!!!

Other Thoughts: System Mechanic Professional is a all-in-one program and it is extremely user friendly and great customer support!!

Other Thoughts: HAVE ONLY BEEN USING ON AN OUT-OF-DATE PUTER AND IT HAS SAVED ME MANY TIMES.HOPE TO SOME DAY HAVE A PUTER WORTHY OF THIS SOFTWARE
