Cons: First, heavy affect machine peformance. Tokes 5 sec to open a web page, if site advistor on. When full scan ran(scheduled or non), you'll see the machine crawling. They dont know how to set pri to low. Second, anonying. even you set not to check update, it still ask you to check update every 2 hours or less. I know they want to make sure you are the customer, not a pirate, but that too much. One thing hated is when you do update, you have no options to select which update. And some update without tells you it'll be going to restart machine, and then keep remind you to restart. Third, some features can't them worked. Junk filer, I never see it happend. I do see Outlook put Junk/spam email to Junk E-mail folder, but that is Outlook feature. And some Junk/Spam emails still appear on my inbox. SiteAdvisor, do nothing slow your web browsing. It cannot distince good sites or bad sites. Even an online banking site is bad. Forth, poor performance. All it does is just searches your computer for the word virus and then deletes anything that has the word virus in it. Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY! Pros: none Cons: I purchased the 3 user version of the Internet Security 2012 and within 10 days of installing it my husband's computer got a LETHAL virus. Upon contacting McAfee all they can do is offer to do a Virus removal for $89 and offer to upgrade me to Total Protection for 3 years?????? This is wrong. If they do not guarantee their product I would NEVER purchase it again!
