Other Thoughts: Simple to install, easy to tweak the settings, fairly easy to understand most of the menu items. I installed it on my Windows XP that keeps on chugging but seems to have slowed with the demands of newer, more resource intensive software and Microsoft updates. The computer boots up faster now and no problems or conflicts at all. I feel 'complete' and 'secure'. This is a real bargain at $19.99/free shipping (with $30 off promo code) for five devices. Now this one is the same as the one before it and a little more. Its fast and does not slow down my PC. Its quite fast at picking up dangerous websites and blocks them before you can even view it. It also picks up every malware I unknowingly downloaded with programs online. Trustworthy program for those that want simplicity. Cons: None. It caught malware on my dads computer that had been present for over a year that McAfee didn't catch. My Anti-virus scan now takes minutes rather than hours compared to both McAfee and Nortons. Before installing Webroot I ran a thorough scan using the 'premium' internet security suite from the 800-pound gorilla; I've had a paid subscrition for several years covering several PCs. After installing Webroot, it found one (1) malware the other had missed. Granted, this was just one (1) infected file out of hundreds of thousands (about 2 TB of files), I was still impressed with it's speed and accuracy. I verified the malware detect was vlaid using other 3rd party tools. I remain very impressed that the Webroot app remains so unobtrusive compared to the others. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Even though my cable service provider gives me unlimited installs of the premium internet security suite, I'd rather pay for Webroot's perfromance, speed, and simplicity. Scanning, System Analyzing, Cleanup,,, everything is quick and straightforward. I recommend this to Anybody with a computer. Seriously.
