Pros: It really does a good job. Easy to use and really really fast. Total threats removed: 18 so far. Using it for more than 7 months. A convination of this and a real antivirus does the trick. I havent got any major problem with viruses ever since I got this and I am also using Avast Free Antivirus. I always run a full scan on both every 2-3 days. I go to a lot of ads exploiting sites and I think its thanks to that that I havent got infected with any Malware. Also, an Ad Blocker comes really handy to block 90% of the ads that might be malicious. Put it on your browser.

Cons: None so far. Very satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this product.

Pros: Only AV I've used that doesn't kill performance, doesn't constantly spam with notifications.

Cons: NewEgg related : states that you're purchasing 2015 version but then only offers 2014 for download.. not sure if theres a difference or not but the conflicting years will probably make people feel cheated.

Pros: WebRoot 2014 is great, but isn't 2015 better?

Cons: I bought WebRoot 2015, but was only offered the ability to download 2014.

Other Thoughts: WebRoot 2014 is great and not a bad deal at $5 each, but I paid for 2015. I feel cheated somehow.

Pros: Works and Removed everything

Cons: I found out it slowed down everything.
I thought I had a trojan virus so I got a new hard drive and a brand new windows 8.1 install .

Boom everything worked nothing was slow, and now I put it on there and firefox was unresponsive and would be super slow. I uninstalled Webroot everything works sooooooo much better.

Pros: none-i did not want this product

Cons: I was ordering a new computer. Unbeknownst to me, somewhere along the way I also purchased anti-virus software. I did not check to order this but apparently had to uncheck. Come on NEWEGG you are better than this. please remove and credit my account.

Pros: - Super light weight. Virtually no hardware impact on system.
- Keeps away the usually monsters.
- Absolutely works perfectly with Windows 8.1 (Not upgrading to 10 for a while)
- Do not cause my system to BSOD...

Cons: - Doesn't always play will with other AntiWare.
- Like most AntiWare, on occasion a new update can look like something that shouldn't be there. I recommend not just auto deleting everything a program tells you to... Clicking without reading is how you get those Ads and Viruses in the first place...

Other Thoughts: I would just like to say this is the only AntiVirus I've even been satisfied with. You could even say I'm happy with it!

I've looked over some of the 1Egg reviews and I've got to ask. How can you all claim 5 Tech level yet cannot figure out the issue with a simple program..? Because that's what this is... A very, very simple program...

Aside from the awesome sales the Newg has for this, it's not actually a cheap program...

Norton is $40 a year and Mcafee is $30.
WebRoot... Is also $40/y...

Norton and Mcafee are far to invasive and bogg systems down. I hardly do any shaddy web searching so I can't justify needing a virus Guantanamo Bay... (Directed at the guy who has problems using this with "my superantispyware or malwarebytes" What sites are you going to that makes you need so much protection!? You know, if you just pay for a legit site with a credit card you would avoid getting all that Mal/Spy ware and viruses...

Cons: It doesn't work and would not install on Windows 8.1. "The keycode could not be verified at this time. Ensure that SecureAnywhere is allowed to connect to the Internet and try again". I followed the advise regarding this message from the Webroot support site but no luck.

Pros: This anti-virus beats alls others hands down. Requires very little PC knowledge and it takes care of all issues for you. I've tried about all software for anti-virus and because of this product I'll nevr need to shop around anymore ...I just purchase a new product code every year !

Cons: I usually don't write reviews negative or positive, but this antivirus is beyond horrible. Did it protect my computer? Who knows... As soon as I installed the crud it blue screened my computer over and over.

It was so bad to get rid of it I had to do a system restore back to when it wasn't on my computer. At first I thought maybe it was just a bad install or something wasn't "clicking" with the software. So I checked and double checked then tried to install again. Blue screen over and over again.

Naturally I took to Google to find answers... if you don't believe this is a problem then Google "webroot blue screen of death" there are numerous posts about it. I started reading some of the support/help forums and the webroot admins were beyond unhelpful. Customers were even posting the email responses they were receiving by putting in a ticket to Webroot Customer Support. 80% of them were just generic emails that had NOTHING to do with the problem, the other 20% was the Customer Support Tech blaming the customer for the error.

This software is garbage and I'm posting this review to save some other unlucky victim from this nonrefundable money sink. Even on sale at $4.99 I feel ripped off.

Pros: Surprised by a couple of things. Low cost. The interface is very comfortable and user friendly. It did get rid of a virus that Microsoft Security Essentials let in and could not get rid of. I got it for a relative and now purchasing for my own PC.

Cons: Only running it a month, so can't say will full accuracy what it might miss.
