Unreal Tournament 2004
- Pros: Outstanding LAN playability, great for testing your graphics card, good playability, flexible difficulty.
- Cons: In the actual single player tournament mode, there are alot of characters, but I feel there could be more, it would be nice for certain tactics. Surround sound support would be nice.
- Other Thoughts: Can run great on anything from a 1.25ghz mac mini and up, keeping in mind adjusting the settings appropriately.
A lot of game for the dollar
- Pros: I've been a UT fan since the original 1999 version, and 2004 is still my favorite. This is a lot of game for the dollar when you consider how many maps, weapons, characters, and game modes are included. It's straight up arcade fun without the need to earn anything to get to the next level. The online community is completely free, with free gaming servers, free custom maps, free! Runs amazingly well on Mac with a Geforce 9400M.
- Cons: None, this is one of the best games ever made.
- Other Thoughts: If you have an Intel Mac like me you MUST download and run the Intel installer from Destineer. This is required and not included with the DVD. Make sure you install the latest patch as well for bug fixes. It's 3 steps to install UT2K4 Mac, but not as bad as it sounds.
