It's all about the color. Color in your photos, color in your designs, color online and more importantly, color on your display.

World's first built-in ambient light sensor enables consistency never seen before in any lighting condition.

TRUE COLOR. From monitor to print:What you are seeing on screen and in print isn't necessarily accurate – it all depends on your display. The color performance of monitors and printers change over time – phosphors and liquid crystals fade causing the display to drift into unknown colors. hueyPRO calibration brings those mysterious colors back into the open, allowing accurate color to be displayed.

Multiple monitor calibration increases color fidelity from monitor-to-monitor-to-print.

New color patches added.

Advanced Help built in provides step-by-step instructions through calibration and beyond.

User-defined Whitepoint and Gamma combinations provide substantial control over the calibration and output matching.

Zero in on shadow detail and highlights with the enhanced LCD calibration.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works, if you get a good copy + use the right settings

Pros: Cheap
Works to get displays looking pretty similar with the right settings (try setting it to "CRT" when calibrating LCD displays)

Cons: Many bad copies out there
Requires fiddling with the settings to get the best results
Software is annoying, crashes occasionally

Other Thoughts: OK, so I needed to calibrate my Macbook Pro matte screen and Acer P236H 23" LCD. The Macbook had a clear reddish tint, and the Acer was more green, and I just wanted to get them looking similar.

I bought this after reading reviews and deciding to take a risk. After running the software the first time, it resulted in a horrible green tint on both my monitors (a common issue).

I exchanges it, and the second copy I got, I was disappointed again--the green tint in the highlights was still present. I decided to try fiddling with the settings, and set the software to calibrate a CRT display (though both my screens are LCD). Lo and behold, much more accurate color results, and after fiddling with contrast settings on my Acer monitor my displays now look very similar and (to my eye) accurate.

Another issue is the faulty software--it will pop up every couple days asking me to calibrate since it's been "14 days since your last calibration", even though I calibrated the day before.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: Simple to use

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I just received it today, installed it on a dual-monitor system with the first monitor being a 25" LCD/TV Samsung and the other being a 23" E-IPS LCD from Dell. Using the calibration software, both currently match. The software allows for some custom brightness/contrast setup which was required to be used for the Samsung. At this point both monitors are matched, although the white point setting is slightly off from what I considered the prior standard (the eIPS Dell).

5 out of 5 eggsWorking

Pros: Its works you just have to manipulate the monitors colors Cont Bright and and all that to get it to come out right....And yes if you have 3 different monitors they will all look different by 5% to 7% in color shading so pick you best Monitor to use it for color correction for photos...Other then that I P S panels look very good with this... NT panels well I have one LG that can get colors to look good to what you need on every day.. And as for I P S this is well worth it and even more if you have 3 to 6 same monitors

Cons: Non this one works I do take care of it I mean this has its own BOX OK.....

Other Thoughts: IF you have 3 Same Monitors GET IT.............

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well for me

Pros: I don't have the greenish tint that some of the other reviews are complaining about. It calibrated both of my monitors quickly and easily. Perhaps a different driver corrected their problems?

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive
Gives good, consistent results

Cons: Little bit tricky if you want to disconnect one of your screens sometimes.

Other Thoughts: It's a good match for inexpensive IPS monitors. I wouldn't buy it for high-end screens. Also, if you have a TN-film panel, don't expect any tool to make it look good.

3 out of 5 eggsPointless After first calibration

Pros: First calibration you can definately tell the difference in your monitor

Cons: after the first calibration it becomes annoying especially if you use the constant calibration program. it requires a calibration every 14 days and keeps poping up till you do it which is yah only 10 mins max but why every 14 days? and if you use the program that adjusts ur monitor to the light in the room you will see you monitor glitch every 10 mins or so as it changes.

1 out of 5 eggsJust plain inaccurate.

Pros: Cheap, adjusts monitor brightness for ambient light changes

Cons: Simply unusable as a calibrator. Dead wrong, every time.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to calibrate my new Dell 2412m, and the screen on my Lenovo w510 (which coincidentally has a built in color sensor and uses Huey Pro software.) Uncorrected, both these screens are relatively close in color. After calibrating them both with this Huey Pro unit (multiple times) it always left the 2412m with a magenta tint, and the w510 with a green tint. This effect was not subtle at all.

It is worth noting that the color sensor in the w510 does NOT suffer from this issue at all. I have since switched back to using the built-in sensor, and will need to purchase a Spyder in order to calibrate my 2412m.

Don't waste your time with this unit, as tempting as the price is. Pantone should not have sullied it's name with this product.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely worthless

Pros: inexpensive

Cons: loses calibration every time a monitor turns off, has known issues with green/pink cast to calibration, terribly oversimplified user interface makes customization and profile selection or color correction impossible, conflicts with nvidia control panel color settings.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as part of a combo deal thinking it would be useful for my new monitor and the 95% NTSC screen on my laptop since I do design work. I was wrong. This device is absolutely worthless. When "calibrated," three different monitors from three manufactures on three different video cards have this disgusting green tint that Pantone has documented in their forums and online with hundreds and hundreds of complaints. I cannot get them to take my calls or emails. The monitors are constantly loosing calibration and the software conflicts with nvidia's control panel. Every time it starts, it applies color settings and profiles. I would prefer a device that allowed me to calibrate my monitor using existing software and the monitor settings, not a very diluted and "friendly" user interface with no options. Save your money and get something else.
