As the invasion begins, players choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the human Global Defense Force (GDF) or the barbaric Strogg armies, each augmented with specialist weapons and combat hardware. Troops utilize more than 40 conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems like quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for intense ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy.

He has all the Medal of Honor games. This game is better. I bought another copy for myself so I can play with my son. I am going to build another computer and I am going buy another copy – hopefully to get my wife playing. Great effects – Team play a must – I have played over 100 hours and am still finding new areas in the maps. Excellent strategy game as well as shoot em up. Teams get used to your strategy and you must change or loose. Different servers have different rules and feels to them. It is easy to find one where game play is comfortable and matches your skill. There are many maps, and many different ways to play the game. Communication with the rest of your team is very easy, and most objectives are easy to understand, but hard to complete. Balanced teams, and excellent graphics on maximum settings. The game does not get boring, and the community is noob-friendly. Installs without a problem. Cons: No cons, but I would advise getting the Linux version of this game, if possible. My friend has that on a far slower laptop than my Mac desktop, and the game runs faster. This is may be just a Mac/Linux issue, but I would not expect such a difference in their performances. Other Thoughts: Objective order is similar on many maps, but the strategy varies significantly on each so this is not a problem. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? My all time favorite FPS game is Call of Duty 4, I didn't enjoy this game as much as that game, but it's still a good game.
