KASPERSKY lab ONE Universal Security 5 Device 1 Year

Pros: Kaspersky used to have a good track record.

Cons: The product was unable to update databases. I still had 2 activations left on the kaspersky 2013 I bought. But, I decided I didn't have the time to fix their defective product. I went with another antivirus program. I hope others will do the same. Good Luck.

Pros: this is the last anti virus product I try after years, so far the best, quick, easy to config and parent control as a plus. much faster than AVG, McAfee, Norton ....

Cons: sometimes, in application tools, the running program list is slow to show up

Pros: I've used Kaspersky for the last 5 years and never had problems until I bought the 5 devices 1 year version

Cons: The program crashes when your PC is asleep. Then you have to give Windows (7) permission to start the program about 5 times before it turns on. It's a security to have your protection turned off when your PC is asleep. It doesn't look like Kaspersky is going to fix this problem.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this program download the most recent version from the website. My PC would hang with the CD install and I'd have to reboot. The only way to install the program successfully is to download the most recent version from the website. I would recommend Pure 3.0. I used 2.0 with no problems at all. Also, I heard if you install this program on a MAC you won't be able to use your MAC at all.

Other Thoughts: Update to my original review. After roughly 21 weeks, the rebate finally showed up in my mail box. So, giving it 4 eggs here to help avg the eggs out. Kasp should just tell you up front it will be 20 weeks for rebate.

Pros: 5 devices including my android.

Cons: 12 weeks and my rebate is still in pending status.....i've pretty much given up on it.

Other Thoughts: Will not buy from Kaspy again. I'd rather buy full price products from Norton than be lied to about a rebate.

Pros: very user friendly and trustworthy protection

Cons: not newegg's fault but i bought KAS PURE last year under similar deal and never got the rebate from KAS even with repeated contacts.

Other Thoughts: still a great product and will prolly get this new version when mine expires

Pros: Robust anti-virus, multi-platform

Cons: 1. Cannot be configured by users on Windows; only global settings, and Non-Admin can change these settings

2. After five (!) months did not receive my rebate. Called rebate center three times, receipt acknowlwdes, took about a months to enry into system for processing, no relief in site.

Pros: I got it for an unbeatable price after the rebate. Other than that, it is a very useful software since you can use it with almost any device that may have security concerns. I think that Kaspersky is the first to market with this solution. Symantec is still trying to come up with their version of this product but everybody knows Kaspersky is better than Symantec. Even without Rebates the price is still much cheaper than Symantec One is advertising for.

Cons: Couldn't get it for free ;)

Other Thoughts: All-in-One solutions like this are likely to become increasingly popular since they can protect all of your devices (up to 5). It's also useful for people that have a few different kinds of devices. I think that this All-in-One will support all of the devices supported by Kaspersky; even if they come out with some new kind of security solution for new devices.
