Pros: Easy to install and use. The software installs the latest updates when you do the install and then it updates itself automatically. There really is nothing to do after installing. It just works.

Cons: I do not have anything negative to say about this product.

Other Thoughts: I have not had any issues with Kaspersky AV software. Other brands have given me problems with consuming every bit of resources available.

Pros: I really can't think of any.

Cons: A bug they apparently know all about in their 2015 version brought 2 of our computers to an almost halt. Kaspersky used 99% + of the cpu. None of tech support suggestions helped until they said downgrade to the 2014 version. They will eventually have a patch come out to fix the problem with 2015. I don't intend to risk going back to 2015.

Either their spam filter is very bad or I just can't figure it out. It is not worth any more effort.

The Kaspersky keyboard is a very annoying pop up that I can't seem to get rid of in some browsers.

Other Thoughts: Previously used Norton but heard all the complaints about bloat, etc. Thought this would be better but Kaspersky should be embarrassed to put this junk out. Norton may not be all that great but it in comparison to Kaspersky it is wonderful.

Pros: - Comprehensive coverage
- Heuristic protection
- Secure Browser Window for banking
- Light on the system

Cons: - Doesn't have file or drive encryption like their product "PURE" does!

Cons: Couldn't get it to work.

Other Thoughts: Someone needs to alert Kaspersky that they are losing customers such as myself. I've been a loyal Kaspersky user for many years. When I couldn't upgrade from KIS 2014 to KIS 2015 they wanted me to download this and run that. Look, I don't have time to troubleshoot your product. So, they've lost me as a customer. What a shame.

Pros: Anti-virus is such that when it works, you're not supposed to notice. sometimes it does tell me about phishing attempts or suspicious websites. But I guess I'm supposed to take their word for it...

Cons: ...Nevertheless, I was hit 3 times in the last month by spear-phishing attempts where the attack attempted to spoof my DSL router's configuration page. I caught it because I was alert, but I feel a competent security program should have caught first.

Other Thoughts: This will be my third year of using Kaspersky and I'm becoming increasingly disappointed. Not just at the quality of the product, but at the way Kaspersky is doing business. I don't mind paying for a good product, but if you are going to advertise your offering with a rebate promotion, principles of good customer service compels you to follow through. When my rebate check failed to arrive by the announced date last year, I called twice only to be told the ETA of my check was pushed back again and again. My patience was rewarded today when a final call to the same customer service rep told me the manufacturer has closed the promo and because I didn't check back in time for the 3rd time, she was unable to issue the rebate I was promised. When I was forced to wait the first 2 times, I thought there was a chance the sanctions on Russia due to Ukraine may have played a role in hampering Russian business activity in the US. But when I inquired further today, the customer rep told me that 99.9% of the time the reason for a missing/delayed rebate was that we, the customers, unwittingly throw them away. I don't doubt that does happen. I give props to her for being blunt about the possibility. However I'd been expecting and waiting for the promised rebate and it offended me to have implied I couldn't read or recognize an anticipated item of mail, that this was my fault for having to continuously nag them to deliver on a promise. Habits are hard to change, but if this is going to be the norm now, it may not be worth Kaspersky's waning reputation. Migrating to AVG, Panda, or someone else is a hassle, but you do what you need to do if you have to.

Pros: First, it is an Internet security package. Second, if your hobby is problem solving at length with software settings and Internet connections, this is just the product for you.

Cons: After uninstalling 2014, used the 2015 installation disc with a 3-computer license. Installed OK on one computer, but after two tries on the second computer, the software shows that 2015 is installed but will not reset days to expiration. Neither computer will allow connection with My Kaspersky, giving a proxy server error and then preventing any other action to connect with Kaspersky even after turning off proxy server connection in Settings. Safe Money "insists" that I use it for my banking connections and then blocks any other secure connection through Chrome. A very troublesome product that takes entirely too much time to set up and get operational. Over 10 hours of fiddling with various settings without any success in getting around the many issues. 2014 version worked fine...2015 appears to be simply too difficult for the average user to install and get operational.

Other Thoughts: Sadly, this product has a good reputation in some quarters, but I need a product that installs smoothly, has settings that actually work, and gives me a measure of control instead of check-boxes that apparently do nothing.

Pros: Okay product.

Cons: Kaspersky conveniently forgets to send the rebate check unless you go to their web site to check on it, or else it takes forever to be received by the buyer. No rebate yet and I purchased it 4 months ago.

Pros: None

Cons: I'd recommend everyone avoid almost all Russian made products for IT security. Kaspersky has confirmed their 'close ties' with Russian Govt. for spying. But most importantly, they continuously BREAK this product, and you'll find it HIGHLY unstable under many conditions. There is a reason Kaspersky has failed to penetrate the enterprise market, their products aren't stable enough over the long term for enterprise environments.

Also, this product is 'questionable' at detecting PUA/PUP infections, even with the option turned on. It's simply not capable of keeping a system clean from them. Real world performance is not up to the synthetic test results with Kaspersky. It performs well on tests because of the teams they employ to pass these tests, but in the real world? Not so well.

Buy Trend 2015 or Norton 2015, go with reputable firms with a long established history, and strong customer support.

Guess to satisy New Egg I will say that Their shipping was fast and item arrived undamaged

Cons: Couldn't remove trojan problem without ruining whole PC. Had to call and beg them to fix the problem. Only cost $100.00 more than I paid for secutiry. No $100.00 they didn't give a darn. Got that half but fixed and then Their Safe Money started acting up. I was yes and no to so many script errors that I deactivated it. Then they sent email I had 3 days to login in with user name and password to keep their product. Well of course that made me remove it from 1 PC all together.

Other Thoughts: Everyone I talked to from the lady stealing my extra $100.00 due to their product incompetence, to their tech support. Had to let them into my system. After they said they fixed problem I had a number I could call if I had problems. Guess what. It was busied out. Called every 10 minutes and got busy signal every time for 3 hours.

Pros: Well rated. Fast tech support response.

Cons: Causes cpu to spike, and Kaspersky tells me to downgrade to 2014.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure it does a fine job of protecting my computer, either the 2015 or 2014 versions. The reviews are great. But having to downgrade to the 2014 version isn't exactly what I signed up for. And no fix is planned until the 2016 version.
