Pros: RAM DISK!! I have created RAM drives before with other software. But nothing like this is supposed to do. I'm getting this 64gb version for free with the purchase of my new video card I bought from NEWEGG (gigabyte R9 290). I know from past experience with RAM disks that this should be awesome speeds...

Cons: AMD says they are going to email the code to me when it becomes available? cant wait dangit, I want's it NOWS!

Pros: RAMDISK IS 1 MILLION PLUS, TIMES BETTER THAN WHAT WE USE TO USE TO COPY OUR CD'S TO DISKCOPY & WOW, WHAT A SPEED DIFFERENCE. BECAUSE, OUR CD's WERE NOW RUNNING FULL BORE ON OUR HARDDRIVES.
WELL, NOW, THE TECH's AT AMD HAVE DEVELOPED A PRODUCT CALLED " RAMDISK ". EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS ON THEIR WEB SITE. BEFORE SETTING UP THEIR RAMDISK. THEY HAVE FIGURED OUT A WAY TO LOAD CERTAIN PERTINATE FILES FROM OUR OPERATING SYSTEMS, THAT TO ME, IS TOTALLY AWSOME, A LOT OF U HAVE SSD DRIVES. U KNOW THE SPEED DIFFERENCE THEY HAVE, WELL RAMDISK IS AT LEAST 10 OR MORE TIMES " FASTER THAN SSD DRIVES "!!! Other Thoughts: MORE TO COME AS I ALONE GET USE TO USING RAMDISK.

Pros: Named after GREAT video cards.

Cons: was suppost to be 64 gigs but only gives you 4.

Other Thoughts: I never even received an email letting me know the downloaded item was available to download. I should has been instant. I had to look it up in my orders it gives yopu only the last 4 characters of the serial key.

Pros: Downloaded and installed within 5 min of receipt of code key by email. Setup was little confusing at first. After I created my first RAM disk, it would not save until I came out of advanced mode and realized it was set to create new ramdisk instead of load saved ramdisk on program startup. It is definitely much faster but haven't yet benchmarked it yet. Tried it with gaming and video editing. Created 8GB ramdisk (total 12BG system). Full RAM recovery when ramdisk stopped. Created a RAMdisk folder on second drive to store ramdisk images. When loaded, it functions like any other drive. Games are automatically saved. Got it cheaper with promo. Well worth the buy.

Cons: Seems the program persistently defaults to start the ramsdisk when the program starts (advanced mode). I unchecked it, checked to "save when changes made" then exited advance mode and made sure the program was set to load a saved ramdisk when the program starts. That did the trick.

Other Thoughts: Was creating RAM disks in the days of DOS but with so little memory, it was not practical back then. It has its place today with RAM being so cheap and plentiful. Going to upgrade to 24GB RAM just to take advantage of the program

Pros: Ramdisks are not a "new" thing. I haven't used them since the Win 3.11/DOS thru Win98 days when HDDs were really slow. The app allows for easy setup and there is quite a bit of flexibility. I've configured a machine with 32GB as follows:
22GB Ramdisk striped with 22GB on an SSD (44GB total on stripe)
2 Partitions on the stripe-- 2GB for browser temp files (extra security if you know how); 42GB for small files, disk intensive stuff (e.g., Photoshop temp), virtual machines...
In this configuration, I do NOT recommend storing any permanent files-- it's a VERY fast scratch disk.

Cons: Not a con per-se; just be aware that this is fast scratch disk access.

Other Thoughts: Try the free version out. It's limited to 4GB (6GB with AMD memory). Watch the videos for implementation ideas.

Pros: works just like the product is supposed to. been useing the free version for about three days now, and works great.

Cons: non with the product so far.

Other Thoughts: newegg never gave me the last 4 digits of the Product Key, they never sent me an email confirming the purchase or giving me my Product Key to activate the full version. customer support isn't even open till tomorrow because I had to wait the 3 hours for the email that never came! I would not recommend buying anything from newegg that has to do with download!!!

Pros: I run game demos and temporary internet files from ramdisk.
Game restarts and Internet page switching are much faster.
Internet Video Glitches and buffers overcome much faster.
A Good Product, THANKS!

Cons: Not Designed to run Operating System from it
