Pros: I though I had VIPRE anti Virus Software on my brad new computer tower. I think my son Joe tril Mac A Fee took it off. I have 0 virus protection as of 5-29-2015. I see a Newegg Download Manager Setup on 5-1-2015 at 8:03 am & 9:51 am it took 37,691 KB of my computers memory . Can you please give me my VIPRE key code so I can get it from them. Yours got erased! Send it in my email please.

Cons: Either it is to early for chat it's 7;06 am EST. Maybe you have 0 . I really need my key code for the VIPRE I bought from you on 5-1-2015 or it could have been 1 day before. I now have 0 protection & I kill my computers all the time, my talents are cooking, sewing, and crafts, I will never be a techie. I am taking free computer classes at my local library so I will be more informed how a computer works. I had typing in high school,only had computers in college when they had floppy disc. Please send my VIPRE key code to my email on file so I can get it from VIPRE themselves your download can be erased or taken down. Pros: Great deal on the price of this Lifetime version when on sale. Don't have to worry about expiring every year. Automatically blocks some suspected bad websites.

Cons: When installing Vipre Internet Security, it wants Malwarebytes uninstalled first. Uninstalled Malwarebytes and finished the installation of Vipre, then reinstalled Malwarebytes. Both worked, but, Malwarebytes would lose its scheduled tasks (scheduled updating and scans) every couple weeks or so. Contacted Malwarebytes support and couldn't determine what was causing it to lose its scheduled tasks as it was so intermittent. I have since removed Vipre from that system and using a different AV, and Malwarebytes hasn't lost its scheduled tasks since.

Uses a lot of resources when Vipre is doing its weekly full scan. Slows the system down to where it is unusable until the scan completes. Aborting the scan and rebooting the system would get the system back to normal, until the next full scan. Better to schedule a full scan when you just leave the computer on overnight.

Other Thoughts: I had a version of Vipre as part of GFI-Max remote monitoring service called Managed Antivirus and it worked well. It didn't have the issues with Malwarebytes nor slowing the system down during its full scans. Because of monthly cost of the GFI-Max service with Managed Antivirus (Vipre), I discontinued GFI and bought this lifetime version of Vipre hoping it would run similarly. I have since installed this version of Vipre on another system that doesn't have Malwarebytes and it's working, so far.

Pros: Catches some stuff but like other reviews not very thorough.

Cons: Word of caution buying this product, that lifetime license only allows one reset of the operating system and that's it the license is revoked if you have to reset your system again!

Other Thoughts: Uses up a lot of resources so if your gamer it's better to shutdown the firewall while doing so, I windows firewall with a good real-time virus protector is the way to go. It's cleaning tool doesn't give you a result page so you don't really know what your deleting from those categories

Pros: It detects some stuff.... Sometimes actual infections

Cons: As a PC repair shop owner, I see infected systems come in all the time with this product, mcafee, AVG and Norton. People who buy these security products are my best clients. By all means keep buying these products ��

Other Thoughts: Having big name recognition means very little in security software these days. It pays to talk to real tech people that actually use the products. Magazine and online reviews are purchased and should not be trusted.

Pros: Catches most threats and is updated frequently. The interface offers a dark/light option. Ideal for non-techie users who tend to be 'adventurous' as it errs on the side of caution. Support tends to respond quickly.

Cons: Can be annoying for power users. Triggers on and quarantines any 'questionable' software as a serious threat so can't be used to scan such things for genuine malware. The "Handle threats automatically" option when disabled doesn't provide any noticeable decision-making options to the user. Vipre still acts unilaterally and shows a "We just protected you from a threat" popup.

Website blocking is a bit paranoid and any site that is blocked must be manually un-blocked in Vipre settings.

Other Thoughts: VIPRE is based in Clearwater, Florida. Links have been demonstrated between VIPRE, its parent company and another 'organization' also based in Clearwater.

Pros: Great price - got it on promo. Easy download install - great customer service. Lifetime updates!

Cons: Had problems with original install. Kept shutting laptop down and I had lots of error messages. Totally uninstalled Vipre. Reinstall is working great. No problems so far.

Pros: Excellent product for virus removals with a lift time of updates
at no extra charge!

Cons: None Known. I did like the 2014 interface better.

Pros: I've had a very popular brand of Anti-virus for years on all my computers. VIPRE has proven to be more effective in finding malware and trojans and preventing attacks than previous brand. Love the interface. The download was quick and easy.

Cons: no cons that I know of.
