Pros: - boots PC from the USB stick so there's no chance of any malware on the PC's hard drive interfering with the process (because it's not running from the hard drive)
- Really easy to use
- Keeps itself updated
- Can be used on up to 3 different PCs, each month (the counter is reset at the end of every month, so you can use it on three entirely different PCs next month)
- good support from the company

Cons: - reporting is only on-screen
- takes hours to scan your PC, and you can't use it while it's being scanned (hint: do it overnight)
- doesn't catch everything (a little weak on malware like Conduit), but MalwareBytes ought to catch what the FixMeStick misses

Other Thoughts: A really great no-brainer answer to the question "Does my PC have a virus?" Good for handing to a friend or relative who's worried about PC viruses.

Pros: This stick Fits the USB port and has a Cap to keep dust out of the device.

Cons: Cons? let me count the ways, 1 You will have to reinstall your OS after using this device. 2 Pray to whom ever you believe to be G_D, that you have device drivers after the install. 3 Backup before your important Photos, Docs, etc...before ever using this device. Also, Just remember this you were warned about this device. I would just do a system restore back to the out of box system. You can also research and find a do it yourself Stick for the cost of a 4 GiG memory stick.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to test it and being a Linux/Unix Administer for over 20 years; I can say "Give this to a online Pedophile, Donate these to ISIS". Tech support for this device is Nada. I could think or worse things in my 20 plus years as a tech and even Stacker for hard drives was not this bad ".

Pros: I bought 3 of these at a big discount. I thought this would be a great product to own.

Cons: I was hit with a Hijacking program on my MacBook Pro running Windows 7 with bootcamp. I got rid of the hijacking program and there was no trace of it. I installed the Fix Me Stick, ran a scan, nothing detected. After installing the fix me stick it would take about 10 minutes for my laptop to restart or shutdown. I contacted the tech support and there were useless. This will screw up your computer and make it worse then any virus you get infected with.

Other Thoughts: I thew away the 2 spare Fix Me Sticks in the garbage. I would only install this program on someone's computer who I don't like very much like an Ex girlfriend. Your better off using an Anti Virus program and Malware Bytes.

Pros: Easy to use,employs pre-boot scanning.

Cons: Have to buy another one every year.

Other Thoughts: I'll buy another one in a year. It eradicated a nasty Trojan virus that had escaped my AVG anti-virus. Well worth it the on-sale price of $30.

Pros: ran as advertised. Nailed 8 suspicious items on wife's laptop. Good idea for portability and secured application data.
