Don't have to be a rocket scientist to install, wont hog resourses does what it supposed to do. Please don't pass this one up! 2 years, 3 users, $35.00, free shipping, It does not get any better then this. Cons: Shipping was extremly slow, for such a small pkg. Like 7 days. dhl must have a deal with usps, it ended up comming by way of my loacl post office, which is the last guys i want to deal with. newegg, needs improvement on shipping with these guys!!! Other Thoughts: One last note! Remove all previous firewall, anti-virus software before installing this software, it will make for a smooth installation, and a a lot less grief. AV Enjoy!!!! Active and adaptable firewall. It was cheap! I got it for $5 after rebate and that's forr 3 PCs for two years Cons: The firewall was a little confusing to figure out so I just kept the defaults Other Thoughts: I purchased an Acer Aspire One then removed Mcaffee that came with it and the rest of the "free" bloatware. I installed AVG without all the web interface extras. Just a simple basic install. AVG doesn't slow the system down. I can run Netflix now without a slow down. Has everything you'd want to protect yourself from incoming attacks. Cons: Had a bit of a problem because It wouldnt update but that was something with my computer. AVG is one of the few brands of antivirus left that does not infect your personal life with spam and upsells. The free version is used by many on a tight budget and this option allows users to get a good version for the cost of a stamp. The interface is nice, effective but simple and does not interfere with browsing the internet like other antivirus does. Cons: Not the absolute best program. Other Thoughts: While AVG is not recognized as the very best antivirus, it is by no means the worst. There are other programs that may be slightly more effective but AVG does not tie up system resources as much. I've used Kaspersky which probably could stop the virus from hell but at the same time made it almost impossible for me to log in anywhere and had a timewasting learning curve. The software is cheaper here on newegg than it is for me to renew straight from the company. After being a customer for years, AVG should offer some discount one would think. I use AVG all the time and I plan to buy more coipies when the optherones go on sale with rebates, oh, and i got my $30 rebate in 2 weeks flat! Cons: I hate paperwork for rebates and the registration for online takes a while to actually acquire. Other Thoughts: it's great software and i would definitelly buy it again.
