I like the GUI and he can navigate it fairly simple too. It was cheap and easy to come by. He did have AVG 2011 on his PC and this upgraded perfectly, with out a hassle. How could I not get this. It was $20 with a $20 MIR. So once I get the rebate card back it was FREE!!! Cons: None that I am aware of now 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful. Did you? Received two e-mails from tech support asking why they were receiving my e-mails, which they had asked me to send a screen shot of my newegg receipt. avg warning screen keeps popping up whether I'm gaming, browsing, listening to music, etc telling me to register or it will revert to free version. 6 out of 10 people found this review helpful. Cons: It has enough bloat ware included to stall older systems, unacceptable to hijack search engines on install, it installs yet another toolbar, reporting seems not to exist after scans. Oh and last but not least the ugly colors chosen for the interface. Have you ever seen the early versions of windows, back when the color pallet was limited? If not just do a search for win95 pictures. This is that bad or worse. Other Thoughts: I have been a long time user of AVG, but starting with 2012, I began to be dissatisfied, now the interface is the last straw.
