Anybody who knows Photoshop CS 3 or so will be at home with Photo Studio. I was up and running in no time. Cons: SSSLLLOOOOWWWW. Do not try to run that on a slow PC. I use an older Quad core and it looks like the program only uses 1/2 core. For occasional use or maybe with a <10 mpix camera I will recommend it ... or with a very fast PC.. It's much slower than PS CS3 I'm running on the same machine. Still for the Shell Shocker price it deserves 4 stars Other Thoughts: I'm looking for some time for a Photoshop CS3 replacement that I can afford on several Pc's. There are some decent programs out there but I always get to frustrated learning and looking for features. With Photo Studio 6 I was productive from the word "go" . why - because it's really a clone of Photoshop. It's also cheap. But there is a one thing - its very slow. You may want to watch a couple movies while working on your pictures. :-) I have it installed on an AMD 2.3 Ghz Quadcore with 2.8 gigs usable ram.
