Cons: Decided to "upgrade" from a free AV when this went on sale with a rebate. Not impressed at all after a month or two of trying. The software inexplicably changes its running settings, disabling some features for no apparent reason. The UI is constantly popping up bothering me to log into my account; no idea why. Having trouble with strange behavior when scanning cds/external media and also negative interactions with web browsers. Tried contacting support for a particular issue and didn't hear back for weeks. neweggwilli 9/7/2012 3:47:06 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 2/5Bitdefender not living up to reviews Pros: Easily installed, attractive website and console, enthusiastic tech people, numerous functions of application Cons: Many functions don't work, safepay won't allow scanning of checks, printing receipts; remote site functions swirl day after day, machines missing; tech receives complaints but do not respond; must pay extra for services offered, real high costs Other Thoughts: Used Bitdefender back in 2008 to 2009 had to abandoned due to very poor support. Read recent reviews and purchased this, but while the firm has many com channels, there is no follow through to solutions. Check their forums and see numerous unresolved issues. Stay away until problems are resolved, customer is not as important as Bitdefender leads you to believe. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
