bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013 - 3 PCs / 2 Years

Pros: Two years of FULL internet security for what most companies charge for just the anti-virus. Fits all the range of users I have recommended buy it thanks to autopilot mode. Works with everything XP SP3 forward flawlessly.

Cons: Doesn't install itself and give ya a back massage at the same time.

Other Thoughts: I have recommended this for my family and it has worked fine for everyone from the teenagers to my parents that are in their late 70's. For most of the users they leave it on autopilot being happy for it's ease of use, but I can still take full control of the product and have no issues with it doing some hard core coverage.

Pros: Thorough and fast. OK for someone who wants this to do everything, and always be reminding them that Bitdefender is on the job doing everything.

Cons: Way more than a simple antivirus program. This takes over too many functions and can't be completely shut off to scan only on demand no matter how many settings are marked OFF. Nag screen pops up time after time to setup some online service.

Pros: Works well, has a auto pilot and a game mode.
Just set it and forget it.

Cons: The game mode does not seem to kick in for every game I play.
Wow and Dead Space 3 do not trigger the gaming mode.

Other Thoughts: Its anti virus software that's set and forget ftw

Pros: Way better then Norton or Mcafee. Faster scans and less impact to overall system performance. Installed on over 20 PCs large and small, XP to Win8.

Cons: none, even customer service gets back to me ASAP when I have a question for them, just open a ticket.

Other Thoughts: I love how easy it is to use this product. its fast and responsive no waiting like with the big boys and it catches everything. YES I MEAN EVERYTHING!

Pros: Unobtrusive and simple enough to use. Usable for 3 PCs for 2 yrs so no complaints there either.
Not sure on system resources as hardly noticed any slowdown. Has gaming mode and does a good job at identifying vulnerabilities in windows too. Was top rated at independent lab tests, hence switched to BitDefender plus the rebate. So far so good.

Cons: No rebate yet. Status says still in processing though was received towards end of September.
Autoupdate turns off every once in a while and a few of "alerts" in the console about cookies and windows updates. Auto-pilot mode seems to randomly switch to user mode with no updates being received.

Pros: Pretty Red Box.

Cons: Failed to deliver my rebate. Sent E-mail deniaing request
although I mailed the forms on 11-07-12. Claim Id:76193108. Also, the Bit Defender anti-virus failed to read on my computer. Never lost a rebate in my life until now.

Pros: Very nice interface. Previous version was unobtrusive and ran without failure for two years. I doubt you will ever have a problem with it on a new computer with a newly installed operating system.

Cons: Never got this version running right and it appeared to thoroughly crash windows (not saying that it couldn't have been something else, but it seemed to be related to the product). Tech Support was very helpful and interested, though unsuccessful. They offered me three months free, though I didn't accept.

Other Thoughts: Loaded it. Gave me errors within it's modules, uninstalled. Reinstalled. Ran well for about 12 hours, then I slowly lost connectivity, first one MMO, than the other, then finally, everything but their internet site. Uninstalled it. Windows never successfully booted up again. Had to totally wipe the hard drive and start over.
