California Jim 4/25/2013 7:32:34 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 5/5	Rating: 5/5Works Great! Pros: I researched Anti Virus programs and found this one to be rated as very effective. Another brand had let a virus in so I was upgrading. Bitdefender cleaned up my system and has been running great ever since. I have upgraded three times, and each time it works well. All I have been looking for is smooth protection, and Bitdefender has provided that. Cons: Always scans USB drives when plugged in, and CD's when inserted. I know I can turn this off, but I do not want to turn off any protections. These scans do slow down the system a bit, but I would rather know I am safe than to turn off this feature. Other Thoughts: I have worked in IT departments for almost 20 years. I know computers. If there is a verifiably better Anti-Virus system out there for a reasonable price, I would change. CMB 10/9/2012 2:50:48 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5JUNK Pros: None Cons: The 2012 version of this suite was highly recommended by AVTest and CNet. It was a "..full featured suite that didn't affect system performance and was very effective in protecting your computer..." Unfortunately I don't think it will make the cut for the 2013 version. I installed this on 2 computers. The first computer I installed it on is running Windows XP Pro 32 bit with Outlook 2007 Dual Core CPU and 4 GB of ram, well within the recommended requirements. After installation the software reverted all my settings to the default XP settings. I had this computer set up for Windows Classic theme with custom sounds. The second computer is identical to the first minus the Outlook software. On this computer the software told me the registration key was already in use. (This key is good for 3 computers) The installation on the second computer also caused it to crash constantly and I was forced to uninstall it. After uninstalling the software the computer was slow and would not connect to the internet. I had to perform a system restore to get things back to normal. I called support, if you can even call it that, and got no where. They speak poor English, and have no clue what their software even does. I do not recommend this software to anyone.
