Other Thoughts: I've used the HRBlock online version through their website for years. I thought this would basically be an extension of that. It's not. It's clunky standalone software that can't sync with any of the data you're previously entered/given to HRBlock, it costs extra to use, etc.

Even offering this for sale, especially with the misleading title, has soured me from purchasing at Newegg.

Pros: Not sure yet. It installs fine, but that's about it.

Cons: If you need Schedule F you might as well just get the paper worksheets. Chat support to answer a question did not work. Called the toll-free number for support on a tax question was put on hold for excess of 20 minutes -- I hung up at 20 minutes.

Pros: On sale pretty cheap

Cons: I agree with the other reviews. I used HR block online for the past 3 years and thought this would be about the same, it is not. It would not let me import any of my previous returns even though it is the same company. I even tried to use the code to purchase the online version but it would not let me. Waste of money...Do not buy.

Pros: Cheap, was on sale for 1/2 off

Cons: It has a very clumsy UI, it won't allow editing or deletion of a 1099misc - I guess I'll have to start a return from scratch and re-enter all my data. The interface and calculations for a Colorado non-resident are completely brain dead. Thank goodness CO has a decent simple manual method of filing.

Other Thoughts: I will not be a repeat customer.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: I purchased this software from another source after learning that the TurboTax software with the Schedules I need (C, D etc.) had increased in price. I found the look and feel of this 'software' to be abysmal. Not only that, but the 'software' COMPLETELY MISSED a $1,000.00 credit on my return! I quickly sent for a refund on this 'software package' and purchased the higher priced TurboTax Package...a refined and accurate software package that I've been using for years. Guess you get what you pay for. I discovered also that due to customer concerns, Intuit is offering rebates on its higher priced TurboTax package which drops the price close to that of prior years. Please bear in mind that I am in no way affiliated with Intuit or TurboTax.

Pros: Federal was easy!

Cons: It charges for state e-file. Based on the name of this, I would think it is included :(

Cons: Not quite as polished as TurboTax but getting there.

Other Thoughts: This product imported last year's Turbotax with no problems. I did have to enter a few items again, but otherwise the whole process went well.

Other users say that they charge $19.95 extra for a state return e-filing but so does TurboTax. If you don't want to e-file the state return is free just as the company states. Nothing sneaky, IMO.

Pros: The software worked fine.

Cons: When I went to file state it made me pay $20 additional even though this says it includes state.
