Pros: Recommended by HowToGeek. Several good posts from them where they talk about this product made me check it out. It's a very useful tool for sifting through the junk on our machines.

I got this at an insanely low price. Look for a sale. That full retail price is too much. You can find a lightweight version of this product as a free download if you want to try it out. For me it was worth buying the full product.

Cons: It's not a miracle cure to all of my ills, like the marketing may lead me to believe. I don't believe that it makes my machine significantly faster or anything. Deleting things like internet cache and image thumbnail cache actually makes the machine slower when it needs to rebuild them. But a periodic cleaning is a very good idea. This is a very useful tool for tasks like this.

Other Thoughts: This tool helped me to get a handle on all the cookies, fragments of garbage left behind by incomplete uninstalls and alot of other stuff that I had been ignorant about collecting on my computer. Now I have put together lists of cookies for it to keep (because some of them are good) and can periodically clean out invalid references in the registry (be careful with that part of the tool though.) . I don't use it on startup like it wants and I don't want it nagging me all the time (monitoring) but I have it run daily on a schedule to keep certain things which I have defined in order. It's a pretty powerful tool for automating this stuff.

Pros: Great version of CCleaner to set and forget. It is nice to not worry about updates and upgrades. If you can find it on sale for cheap this is a great purchase.

Other Thoughts: Newgegg did nothing which is understandable when my product was sent with no license key. However, Piirform did a great job of correcting the problem not only once but twice! My name was misspelled first but they corrected the problem quickly. I now have the key I Payed for. Thanks to Piriiorm and their team. It is unfortunate newegg got caught in this "no license key" fiasco. However, I recommend you contact Piriorm. They are are great!

Cons: I received the CCleaner and on the registration/license hard included the area on the card where the product key is supposed to be is blank so it can't be installed.

Pros: All the capability of the excellent free version plus several useful features including auto update, multi-user account support and background monitoring.

Other Thoughts: Picked this up on promotion for $7. Well worth the cost, especially the auto updates and multi-account support (great for IT support gurus). Background monitoring uses little resource but I will probably disable as the pop-ups are a bit annoying.

Pros: I had a promo code and picked this up for $7. I was getting a registry error that I couldn't quite track down while sifting thru the registry. This identified the problem and took care of it immediately, among other minor issues.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this to anyone not only for cleaning the junk off your system, but fixing those pesky registry issues we all have from time to time.

Pros: I have used Ccleaner free version for years and have been very happy with it. The paid version allows for real time monitoring.

Cons: The free version is probably fine for most users. Full price is too much, but 70% off coupon made it worth while.

Other Thoughts: I did not mind paying some money for software this is very useful and no ads/spyware (even for free version).
