Spyder4Express is a simple, affordable solution for calibrating a monitor.

Spyder4Express features a proprietary, full-spectrum 7-color sensor that can accurately characterize a variety of wide gamut and normal displays. Spyder4Express software lets you use the same sensor to calibrate your monitor, laptop computer, iPad and iPhone. No other calibrator has this capability. The fourth-generation sensor uses double-shielded filters for longer life and better performance. On average, accuracy and precision are improved by 26% and 19% respectively.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my Spyder2, it worked fine the first time, after that it puts a severe blue color cast. When I contacted Datacolor, they sent me a file I had to use to reset the device, which in turn created profiles Windows wouldn't allow to be run, after making settings changes to windows itself, it will work, until you have to calibrate it again, then you have to go through all that all over again. Cons: It works the first time, after that it puts a blue colorcast.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my Spyder2, it worked fine the first time, after that it puts a severe blue color cast. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is serious about getting into a calibrated monitor solution.
