5 out of 5 eggsFast and stable

Pros: This card is another good example Intel's lead in quality consumer (and server) grade network interface card manufacturing. It grants full gigabit line rate downloads (minus packet overhead of course), low processor utilization, low latency and stability. With a few of these in smaller scale *BSD firewalls, the cards provide uninterrupted, error free WAN-LAN connection to my backend servers. Asus ROG motherboard lines also employ Intel chipsets over the typical Ralink counterpart. So this NIC comes highly recommended. It's a buy.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsSaved a dead system

Pros: The onboard NIC failed on a Dell Optiplex 790. I needed to get this system back online ASAP. This card was simply plug and play in Windows 8. It does seem to work a bit faster as well.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsuniversally the best NIC

Pros: Software, options, reliability, speed

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Price is great, for what it offers, and it really sets a high standard for what a consumer should expect from a NIC. I have these in most of my computers that don't already come with an Intel NIC, and have at least one spare because you never know when you'll need it.
