Other Thoughts: Decided to get this card out of curiosity more than anything else. Works great.

Pros: This GB LAN card works great. My HP PC had a 100MB card only and I needed a new one to get better speeds for backups. This fit the bill and worked perfectly.

Cons: I have found none and am sure I won't either

Pros: Works as expected, super easy installation, recognized automatically by Windows but has far more advanced features once you run the Intel driver update suite from Intel.com site. More powerful than I needed but as fast as I hoped! Intel quality for a good price at $30.

Cons: Could always be cheaper, wish I had a coupon but still $30 was worth every cent for Intel quality vs the more affordable off brands.

Other Thoughts: I installed into my HTPC because my Realtek integrated card had been causing nothing but trouble with intermittent connectivity and consitent outages 10 min after bootup. But, I forgot to validate if it was half height PCI express. Thankfully however it comes with the half height adapter -- saved me a lot of hassle!

Pros: Works. Comes with both full height and small form factor adapter/plates.

Cons: None.

Pros: - Works like it should
- Exponentially better than the on-board NIC (nVidia nForce)
- Worked out of the box, let Windows 7 Windows Update download the initial drivers, then went to Intel's website and got the latest drivers, installed right over the top of old ones and not 1 problem.

Cons: Weird fit with the HAF 932 case. It fits but the back plate doesn't screw in snugly. Kinda jiggles, so if you plug/unplug the cable regularly it might be cause for concern (case issue, not card, in my opinion)

Pros: Fast install, frees up system resources in my rig; does pretty much everything i needed.

Cons: None, really.

Pros: started with the on board athos gigbit but only got 12mb up and about 20mb down
after installing this card i got 95mb up and 125mb down

Pros: To be quick this is a solid card, its nice to be able to get an Intel NIC made for desktop so you don't have to pay a fortune. I'm using it on a Windows 7 64bit box and it worked like a charm ever since installing it. Good speeds, as it performs as fast as anything on my network, and no dropped packets or any other weird problems. It's worth it to pay a little more and get a legit card from Intel than cheap out and maybe get a shotty card from someone else.

Cons: You'll obviously need a spare PCI-E slot to use this card, so make sure you've got one before ordering. This isn't a con,. but I could see someone not checking and being disapointed.

Pros: greatly increased net working. Internet is still snappy even with 4 torrents down loading. INTEL you can't go wrong!
