1 out of 5 eggscompatibility issues with AMD chipsets

Pros: Didn't get that far.

Cons: Intel's feedback:
"Note that we have seen hardware compatibility issues with AMD chipsets in the past so if the issue persist you might need to contact the system manufacturer and see if they have any recommendation on this case."

Other Thoughts: It'd be helpful if this was noted on the device specifics.

1 out of 5 eggsIntel Drivers?

Pros: Nice package
Great design
PCIe

Cons: Drivers are *!%$ !Wifi utitlity installs just fine but drivers for the card will not install in Vist 64bit or XP 32bit.Called Intel and was told by a rep that only windows 7 and 8 are officially supported.I'm building a windows 7 machine this week so I'll see if it works any better for that os and report back

Other Thoughts: Intel has been around for a long time. They need to get their stuff together. When you make a wireless card it should have driver support for any high use os and I know Vista never was used by many people but XP was and still is used by more people than all the other os combined

5 out of 5 eggsNo Issues with Win7 64 bit...

Pros: In seeing several posts about it not working with Windows 7 64bit... I had no issues installing the included software and drivers - no issues with updating the drivers and software - no issues with it at all since I've had it running on a Windows 7 machine (64bit).

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsWow! Wireless card ROCKS!

Pros: Intel, need I say more! I did a lot of shopping and searching for wireless cards when I built a new PC with WIN 7. My old MSI card did not work. This new card fired right up, no problems at all! Speeds are great and I've not had a single issue, very reliable!

Cons: shipping took an unusual amount of time to get here. Not like Newegg at all, but that's okay. It arrived at about a week and a half, packaged very well.

Other Thoughts: This card is very well built, I really like the antenna, it is very sturdy and mounts well onto any surface! I have not had any issues at all, very fast and dependable! thanks Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny.

Pros: Easy to install in a low profile desktop.
Fast and reliable
Good reception

Cons: None really. Some people might not like the the length of the antenna.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my mom's computer because she was having performance problems with her old wireless adapter.
With in stalled there was an instant performance and reception boost. This card has been installed now for about 6 months and works very reliably.

4 out of 5 eggsThis card is insane.

Pros: This card has a well-designed antenna, and it's running on an Intel wireless chipset. Drivers are stable, the connection is stable, and I've never seen one of these even remotely stumped by a router. They're always showing crazy good signal.

Cons: Due to the fact that the antenna is a free cable, rather than a rigid antenna sticking out the back of the case, it can be rather frustrating to have this card if you move your desktop a lot (LAN parties and such).

While transportation would make a rigid antenna preferable (one less thing to disconnect, if you trust yourself not to inadvertently apply significant force to it), the tradeoff is the signal quality and range. This card picks up wi-fi WHISPERS.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug and Play w/ Windows 8 - fast

Pros: Installed it, turned on the machine and immediately got online without installing ANY software/drivers. No issues.

Fast connection.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I love that is came with a pin or a sticky pad for mounting on the wall or wherever you would like.

My ATT router is downstairs and maybe 50 feet away. Solid connection.
