5 out of 5 eggsDont let bad reviews Scare!

Pros: Install was a breeze! Driver install from intel site was a breeze!
Works well with bluetooth Mice.
The hardest part was having to compleatly tear down my toshiba L875 to pop this in!

Bluetooth and Wireless in one, saving you a USB port for wireless dongles for wireless mice

Cons: Range could be better throughput wise
Bluetooth mice are pricy!

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a Realtek card that came stock with my laptop, Also because its bluetooth and i can now have a wireless mouse without using a USB dongle!

Go to hardware propertys and uncheck the option for the computer to turn off device to save power! Will eliminate some headache

Havent tried to bluetooth with my Droid 4 for internet yet

5 out of 5 eggsCombo!

Pros: Intel Quality, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, Dual Band

Cons: Uhh, you may need some drivers... Intel Download Center to the rescue...

Other Thoughts: Replaced the Realtek WiFi/Bluetooth Combo that came with my Sager NP9150/Clevo P150EM Laptop. This worked without a hitch. Newegg may want to add this to the Description of this and other Mini PCI-Express Adapters: "This PCIe Half Mini Card provides a low profile design for existing laptops as well as for newer, thinner, smaller laptops, netbooks and tablets." Also, an Adapter will be required for use with Desktops. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815158307

5 out of 5 eggsExactly What I Needed

Pros: Quick, Easy Install
Quick, Easy setup.
Works Great, Found my 5ghz wireless band instantly.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I was very upset to find that my brand new, highly spec'd laptop didn't have a wireless card that could accept both wireless band frequencies, so I did about a weeks worth of research to make sure this card would work in my laptop, even though my laptop service manual i found said it is only for laptops in Japan...
I decided that since it was so cheap and since other people have had success with it, that I'd take a chance and buy it. Very glad I did!!
Forums I looked at did often mention that trying to use windows to find the drivers for the wireless and the bluetooth rarely worked. But googeling the card driver brought me to the right page, found the driver easily and installed it in no time. Total install time from opening my laptop to connecting to my 5ghz band wifi was somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes.
Very glad I bought this before Newegg stopped carrying it...!!!

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: read the description

Cons: I have the Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard. Bought this thinking it would be a cheap, good solution for bluetooth perifrials and wifi. Turns out, it does not actually fit in the PCI-E slots, only in the PCIE 2.0 and 3.0! its about 3mm too long for the PCI-E 1 slots.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: *Dual-band connectivity (up to 300 Mbps) a/b/g/n 2.4/5ghz WiFi
*Bluetooth 4.0 capable
*WiDi capable
*vPro/AMT capable
*Capable of big gain antennas, high wattage if motherboard can handle it.
*Low profile micro PCI-E
*Cheap
*Easy install, drivers readily available on Intel's site for Windows 7/8.

Cons: Finicky without relatively current drivers, Intel has several rather vague versions of drivers available.

Windows 7 current version as of 03/19/13: v15.6.1

Other Thoughts: Requires two U.FL to RP-SMA pigtails which are readily available from many sites. This card will get absolutely no signal without the pigtails/antennas for WiFi or Bluetooth.

5 out of 5 eggsWifi works without a hitch!

Pros: Put this inside of a new desktop build, specifically the Maximus V Gene which has mPCI-e capability. Windows 8 recognized the hardware immediately and I was able to acquire a signal.

Cons: n/t

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that this doesn't include antennae--laptops provide this but you will have to provide two U.FL to RP-SMA "pigtails" and antennae that connect to the module. You will have to locate these parts elsewhere.

Have not tested the Bluetooth capability at this time.

1 out of 5 eggsNot recommended

Pros: Specs look nice

Cons: Does not work properly with DQ77KB motherboard. It appears that this also does not work with a large number of devices properly. I installed the latest driver from Intel's site, the Win 7, Win 8 and 32/64 bit versions and it still does not work properly. I cannot connect to the bluetooth or via wireless. Just going to return it and find something else.

Other Thoughts: I'll just read the reviews before buying something next time.

4 out of 5 eggsWorking Just Fine

Pros: Bluetooth 4.0 built into the card.
Wifi N, channel bonding, all that jazz...

Cons: Takes some knowledge of Wifi and router setting to get setup.

Other Thoughts: I see the others could not get this card to work properly. At first I started to think they were right but with a little research and router tweaks its running fine and stable.

1 out of 5 eggsToo much hassle just to eliminate a wire from my headphones

Pros: Internal. Sounds really great from the description.

Cons: Doesn't work. No support, or instructions other than spending several hours looking for forums which have the same question as mine. When I did find 'answers' (they were really not answers, though, only a door opening up to more murky advice) I found the Typical IT mumbo-jumbo. This time it was about needing to change Whitelist Settings....but you really don't want to do that 'cause it's bad news for your BIOS. Come on Computer guys, what ever happened to 'plug-n-play'? All I want to do is use this stupid thing, not embark on a major project just so I can use bluetooth headphones.

Other Thoughts: If anyone knows how to do a config on this thing which doesn't take more than 5 minutes, I'm all ears. Otherwise, it's worthless to me.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Profile, power consumption, bluetooth 4.0, widi

Cons: It simply does not work. The driver architecture for windows 8 is either not matured or half baked. Just google the card, and you will see a ton issues, with no resolution. I will say, it appears the problem is strictly with win8. I have reverted to Stock MS stack, and it resolves the interconnectivity drops... but bandwith is severly throttled.

Other Thoughts: This is my first negative review of any product... I am shocked that it would be of a piece of intel kit. With that said. stay away from this!
