5 out of 5 eggsShould have purchased this one in the first place. After weeks of frustration with a different brand that starts with the letter (I) I decided to cut my loss and buy something else. After installation

Pros: Worked the first time and continues to perform well.

Cons: Nothing its perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsFixed My Packet Loss Issue

Pros: Price is right, bang for the buck, easy installation, and excellent performance.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I was having a mysterious packet-loss issue with an online, cloud-based application. After hours of troubleshooting, I had a feeling replacing the integrated 10/100 nic with this one might solve the problem.
Combined this with a Cat6, and now no packet-loss. Worked like a charm & now I can focus on my work.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Fits in everything we've tried from old HP/Compaq's to newer custom builds. Just plug in and go. So far all operating systems have recognized the card.

Cons: None that I can think of

Other Thoughts: We've got over 183 computers to take care of in lightening prone Florida. Needless to say, NIC cards usually take a hit during a storm. So far these have held up better than on board OEM.

5 out of 5 eggsAlways compatible

Pros: It seems these cards are compatible with whatever Linux I use, regardless of distribution or age--from very old slackware boxes, to the newer Ubuntu servers.

Cons: I had to put something is this box. Stupid box.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks...but not for what I needed it for

Pros: Worked in Windows XP. Gave Gigabit speeds. Easy setup.

Cons: Locked up my Linux install, which is why I bought the NIC. Recognized by IPCop, and would work sometimes, but usually ended up killing the OS.

Other Thoughts: Would NOT recommend this for a Linux install. Good for Windows, though.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works on 64 bit system

Pros: Works on 64 bit system, gigabit, low profile bracket included.

Cons: so far none.

Other Thoughts: my on broad gigabit ethernet damaged by thunderstorm, got this card and it works fine on my windows 7 64 bit system, comes with a low profile bracket for small platform PC. Going to order a few more incase my other PC NIC gone bad since it's cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Easy

Pros: Installed on a HP Pavilion a1730n. The desktop automatically detected the card, there was no need to use the disc that was supplied. The system is running Windows Vista home edition. Went from a 10/100 to a 10/100/1000. Client states that surfing is a bit faster than before...

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The on board LAN card was not working so, I bought this one for the unit. Client was happy!
