Pros: Reasonable speed at a good price. I was able to reach the advertized 300Mbps connect speeds easily, Easy set up.

Cons: Be sure to follow the directions to avoid problems. If a neophite makes a mistake during the installation, they will likely need to call for help.

300 Mbps is still slow compared to the wired, Gbps network with a switch.

I'm still trying to find the reason for the 40 Mbps file transfer rates

Other Thoughts: If you are new to this, don't make a mistake during the driver installation. It's fast for wireless, but slow compared to a wired CAT5..

Pros: Working perfect for pulling in a far away signal and adding 5GHz band that was missing from the built in WiFi adapter

Cons: Could not get WiFi Direct to work with my Galaxy S4
