2 out of 5 eggsNot Ready for Windows 7

Pros: Nice packaging and appearance

Cons: Not ready for Windows 7. According to support at Level 1, the product will not be until early 2010.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Adapter at a bargain

Pros: If you're looking for a wireless adapter, this is it! Easy setup running Vista Ultimate; drivers are supplied on a CD. Also, included is about a 6' USB extension cable. This was very useful in my setup so I could position the adapter for best reception. Right now I'm connected at 140 Mbps. A very high quality adapter at a fantastic price.

Cons: The cap for the adapter cannot be stowed on or in the adapter itself.

Other Thoughts: I think this adapter is simply incredible. I expected to get a good connection but nothing like the speed I get consistently. A good wireless router probably has a lot to do with my connection. I'm currently have a Linksys WRT160N and it's upstairs in the far end if my house & I use my laptop downstairs, (the furthest away from the router). I think that alone speaks volumes about the router as well as this adapter

Pros: GREAT PRICE for performance. Very small.

Cons: None other than making sure you install drivers first, then the USB device.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: - Installed easily (followed instructions); make sure you install drivers first THEN the USB device, just to be safe.
- My laptop benchmarks 50% faster network throughput (without disk writes) using the 802.11n adapter vs. the built-in 802.11g adapter.

Cons: - Was hoping for more speed, but I'm happy, and usually anything large that is streamed will get saved off, and the hard disk will be the bottleneck anyway.

Other Thoughts: - Used this with my LevelOne 802.11n router, so it is expected it would work.
- I chose to not startup Windows with this adapter's software, so I can choose to use the built-in 802.11g or this adapter, and there is no conflict in switching between the two.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Very small adapter that offers great performance. Gets a better signal than my 9dbi PCI Wireless N adapter. Provides high speed.

Use Ralink's most up to date drivers by downloading them at Ralink's site.

Cons: Ralink's drivers suck. They are completely unstable, and I've sometimes found myself disconnected with my adapter slowly reconnecting after 5-8 hours of internet use.

Other Thoughts: Ralink's drivers have gotten better, don't get me wrong, but they are still not quite there.
