4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Unit works as expected.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This unit would get 5 stars except I never give 5 stars unless a unit gives exceptional results. This one performs as expected.

5 out of 5 eggsreliable switch

Pros: I have been avoiding netgear devices as I had a number of router failures but the simple switches seem very reliable. this is the second one in the system, one is used for the computers and the second is used for the VOIP phones. Simple to connect and reliable. Additionally, the standby power appears to be under 10W. Not too bad for 16 ports.

Cons: None really.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a switch should be

Pros: Does exactly what an unmanaged switch should do. Plug in power, plug in Ethernet cables, place in rack(optional), and forget about it. I've had some trouble with other Netgear products, but their unmanaged switches have not ever failed me.

Cons: tant reliability.

Other Thoughts: I cannot honestly say one bad thing about it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Purchase

Pros: This switch is much better than the ones available at other stores. They all sell JFS 116 which is not as good. This product has enhanced capabilities (smarter). Only available at newegg for some reason.

Cons: Not found any!

Other Thoughts: Very stable!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Room for expansion in our office, quick setup, fast startup and sensing. Includes rack ears.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Just a plain old switch, nothing fancy. Works great for that.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Very Fast

Pros: This switch is great! Always very fast speeds! Heat is never a problem and since it has no need for fans it is totally silent. Sounds ridiculous, but I have had some switches in the past that have gotten very hot with high usage and this switch never has that problem.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I use this switch primarily for LAN parties both PC and Xbox 360. I think that those are both very good indicators of this switches performance considering the amount of data being moved.
