I hope it lasts at least as long as my old Linksys. Other Thoughts: This arrived just in time. I bought it as a back up as my Linksys is (was) about 5 years old and I felt it was due for an upgrade- Well folks- 3 days after this unit arrived- the Linksys gave up the ghost. This switch is now connecting my game consoles, and using the 10/100 Mbps standard limits the traffic on the network during lan parties, which I need done to avoid flooding my router.
