1 out of 5 eggsSlow wi-fi on iPads and TERRIBLE service.

Pros: Easy setup, Gig ports, USB ports.

Cons: Slow on several iPads and iPhones. Terrible service.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this product on 12/29/12 and was pleased with the initial setup. However, when I attempted to browse web pages on 3 different iPads and 1 iPad Mini I noticed that the pages would never fully load or would load very slowly. I promptly called the support number listed on the side of the router. After about a 30 minute hold time I was greeted by a support rep. His first request was the serial number. I read it off to him. He then proceeded to tell me that it was an older model - made in 2011. He told me that in order for me to receive phone support I would have to pay because the unit was no longer in warranty. I informed the rep that I had only owned the product for 2 hours. He said I would have to return in and get a different one and to have a nice day, then hung up. I don't recommend this product or this company.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't last long

Pros: It has pretty lights

Cons: After three months, the 5GHz radio died, so it is no longer N-capable. It still works as a G access point, though. Netgear warranty is meaningless. I will never buy Netgear again. Stay away from this brand.

4 out of 5 eggsCostumer Service...

Pros: Good router, having a little bit of wavy signal on occasion but I'm sure that's ATT's fault.

Cons: If anything happens, or you need anything done with it, Netgear's Costumer Service is horrid!! They charge an arm and a leg for simple help!!

Other Thoughts: It is a good router! Just buy from a local store so if anything goes wrong you can just drive it on back to them.

2 out of 5 eggsIet the buyer beware!

Pros: Great Idea, worked ok for awhile.

Cons: Only worked a little over a year, No customer support for replacement.

Other Thoughts: The first unit was defective, the second unit lasted over a year and after several email to different customer service people in India I think it was determined that the unit had a problem, ok. The would have replace the unit but it was out of warranty so I was out of luck, never did the offer to assist me with a replacement referb, repair, etc. just to bad. The unit worked ok not great. Be careful it's your money and this unit is not cheap, I purchased another unit and I DID not purchase a Netgear product, I purchased a Actiontec for a lot less and guess what it works better, I should have been wiser in the beginning, hop this helps someone.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted 4 hours

Pros: Pretty Lights

Cons: Worked for a whole 4 hours.

Other Thoughts: In 4 hours I have to power cycle 3 times. Every 20 minutes or so it would lock up and only the lan port numbers would stay lit. No not even a hard pin reset will get it to work. Wasted my time installing this unit. This unit at over hundred and fifty dollars was supposed to replace a twenty dollar router, now I'm back with my old unit. At least it works. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it. All that wasted time for nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsNetgear DGND3300 - Totally the Best

Pros: I bought this to replace AT&T's cheap modem and it's been working great ever since. Haven't had a problem yet, and I've had it for several years now. And it's nice to have a router and modem in one unit. Now if only AT&T would fix their end, it would be perfect. Plan on getting another identical model, just because it's getting on in years. I love this model. Netgear- continue making this model. It's the best. But if you could come up with a more POWERFUL router with modem (this dual operation is important), like this model, by all means do so. We could all use more power, wouldn't you say?

Cons: Haven't had any problems with Netgear, but AT&T is another story!

1 out of 5 eggsFailed after 14 months

Pros: Worked great for the first year.

Cons: I had intermittent connection drops and reconnections begin around the 1 year mark. They progressively got worse until it was unusable 2 months later.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Modem While It Lasts

Pros: Solid 5GHz Wireless-N performance, looks really cool.

Cons: Internal DSL modem failed catastrophically after about ten months. Netgear's overseas tech support absolutely refused to issue me an RMA, stating that it was a software problem which required paid support ($69.99 for six months) to resolve.

Other Thoughts: Netgear's RMA process is a disaster. I'm not 100% certain that their tech even understood that the internal DSL modem IS NO LONGER WORKING, as he kept insisting that the product was fine, and it was just a "simple communication problem." I don't think I'll be purchasing any additional Netgear products for either personal or business use until I'm confident that my warranty actually means something.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away ! ! !

Pros: High failure rate negates all positives

Cons: Believe the many high failure rate reviews you read here. Bought it from Newegg about a year ago, and for the last two months it has the worst type of intermittent failure that made it hard to pinpoint that the problem was this device, not the DSL connection. Netgear is pushing trash out the door. Latest firmware patch does not help, either.

Other Thoughts: *All* of the all-in-one DSL modem & wi-fi combo units have high failure rates (read the reviews on them). Purchase a nice DSL modem and a separate wi-fi distribution unit and you will have perfect reliability. My new Actiontec modem is working fine, and tomorrow I will pair it with a Netgear WNR3500L-100NAS to distribute the wi-fi. I have not written Netgear off my list, just the DGND3300 is *pathetic*
