5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: 1) got it after 2 days from ordering
2) easy easy setup
a) plugged it in the wall
b) wireless connected my laptop to it
c) opened my IE to the control 192.168.0.250
d) the wizard found my network and prompted me for my wireless password
e) allowed me to name it the same as my wireless

before I got this extender it was hard for me to get a signal from the front room when I sit on the deck behind the house ...NOW I just plug it in the wall next to me and I get full bars with fast speed.

definitely is worth the money.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: comes with small precise and easy to follow instructions

5 out of 5 eggsWorks - Does what it says

Pros: Easy as pie setup, even on a non-WPS network. Great WiFi reception. Unobtrusive design. Bargain price.

Cons: No way to reboot it via the web interface. Finicky at times - though due to all the 2.4GHz spectrum noise in this area, it's hard to blame the device itself.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to extend the range of a ClearWireless 4G modem. Setup was a breeze using the supplied instructions. I renamed it to have the same SSID as the router, and now folks can connect to both seamlessly. The one trouble spot was DHCP. I had to turn off DHCP and assign this device a static IP address. Otherwise, I would periodically lose my WiFi connection, and get redirected back to the setup page. Disabling DHCP appears to have fixed that - fingers crossed. Not sure I am blaming the device itself - it is possibly due to the 2.4GHz noise in this area or the ClearWireless modem itself. All in all, very happy with it, and the price is a bargain.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great

Pros: I read some of the reviews of this product and was not sure if I should purchase this product but decided to give it a shot. I plugged it in and it picked up my router signal instantly. No problems at all. Signal in third floor of my house went from 1-2 bars to 4-5 bars.

Cons: none at this time

5 out of 5 eggs2.4GHz Netgear Range extender

Pros: Works well OOTB. Great coverage. Inexpensive.

Cons: None. See Other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Had a couple of bumps configuring it compared to a Belkin 2.4/5GHz dual range extender that I configured earlier the same day for another customer. No biggie.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless

Pros: Compact design. Probably make a good paperweight.

Cons: Finally got it to work after a week of tech support. Then it quit working the next day. It's been a huge waste of time for me.

5 out of 5 eggsMet my expectations, and definitely would recommend

Pros: This product is extremely user friendly! I had no problems setting it up, and I get excellent connection when using it. Never was really that into Netgear products, but this has surely met my expectations. I've had it for about a week now and have had a near flawless experience so far. Glad I bought this rather than buying another router like I had originally planned.

Cons: The only slight problem I've run into is that I'll occasionally get lag spikes while I'm playing a game if multiple devices are connected at once, but nothing major.

Other Thoughts: Please note that it is only about two feet away from my laptop and gaming systems. I have yet to test its range, so your experience may differ.

1 out of 5 eggsAWFUL _ Junk

Pros: Looks cute

Cons: 2nd unit DOA...
First one, the "install genie" insisted a firmware upgradee was a good idea, the unit ceased to function after it did.
The second one, would DROP DEAD - no LEDs no anything and have to be pulled from the outlet and reseated to get ANY activity.
