5 out of 5 eggsGood network add

This review is from: NETGEAR Powerline 500 Mbps Nano Kit with Pass Thru and Dual Ports (XAVB5602)

Pros: Plugged in...worked out of the box. The indicators highlight good connections and make install absolutely instant. Hooked a Netgear router configured as an access point to the remote and all my wifi devices shifted to the new AP. My house is long, old and made of block so the extended access is great. No probs so far.

Cons: N/A

1 out of 5 eggsStay Awa unless You can deal w 1M up

This review is from: NETGEAR Powerline 500 Mbps Nano Kit with Pass Thru and Dual Ports (XAVB5602)

Pros: Download speeds at 20Megs (out of 50) upload speed 1.25 M average (out of 30M) useless product, this is my 2 try with this tech. Not really reliable.

Cons: Low speed, not true plug and play... you need to hold the reset on both units so they can sync. So keep them close, when first install.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat BUT 1 problem

This review is from: NETGEAR Powerline 500 Mbps Nano Kit with Pass Thru and Dual Ports (XAVB5602)

Pros: Easy Installation and fast speeds. Along with that secure and since it has at electric plug I can plug my power strip right into it and works great and i don't notice and power loss at all

Cons: None that i have my self. Nothing to really complain about

Other Thoughts: One note im not sure if this is suppose to be like this but in the sending end if I put 2 Ethernet cables in it the connection will die.

5 out of 5 eggsperfect product

This review is from: NETGEAR Powerline 500 Mbps Nano Kit with Pass Thru and Dual Ports (XAVB5602)

Pros: 2 minute installation, works exactly as expected, very good throughput

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: even though I ahve CAT5 wiring in my home, I needed internet connection in attic. I had option of doing extra wiring, but decided to try these. They are much simpler than running extra wire from router. I was able to install it in just 2 minutes. Plug-in and it starts working. I specifically needed 2 Port to aviod adding extra switch.
