5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: Works exactly as advertised, and it is easy to set up. (Note that to initiate setup, you have to connect to the range extender's default WiFi. This wasn't clear in the directions.)

Cons: The range extender doesn't repeat your existing WiFi network. Instead, it creates its own WiFi network, and then beams the data to your router via the router's WiFi. This means you will have to switch between your router's WiFi and the range extender's WiFi if your devices roam your house.

Other Thoughts: This range extender supports both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. There are two ways to set it up: You can either extend both bands from your router; or you can extend one band and then beam via the other band, e.g. you can connect the range extender to the router via the 5 GHz band, and then connect your devices to the range extender via the 2.4 GHz band, or vice versa. It gives you faster speeds and greater range compared to the first choice.
