Pros: None at all

Cons: Really bad firmware. Updated to ddwrt to see if it's better and it really works worst. Netgear give support on Myopenrouter but its useless. When I tried to go back to firmwire stock it hangs and need to do a TFTP to restart. Really not for newbies and not for regular users. It really sucks.

Cons: Spent over 2 hours with tech support. They finally said that it was defective. Ugh!!!

Other Thoughts: So this was purchased for a small office in mind. So far there have been no reports of connectivity loss or wireless issues. While the router is centrally located, there are a couple of walls to go through.
I've done no true speed throughput testing on the wireless.

Pros: Fast when it works!

Cons: 5g drops connection all the time. Even with latest firmware.

Pros: Worked well for about a month, then the 5g started dropping, then the web interface starting not being able to report on the dynamic QOS or Attached Devices.

Cons: Web int is a joke, 5g drops constantly no matter the device (laptop, phone, etc.) Netgear support is a farce, they'll contact you back, run through the reboot, tell you to enable guest wifi network, then say they'll work on it. Never hear back from them.

Other Thoughts: Even after firmware update this device is subpar and you're wasting your time and money on this product and the lack of support is disgraceful. I'm all full time network admin, so it's not like i'm typing something in wrong.

- ability to turn off bright blinking lights

- had to replace since the instability was driving me crazy

Other Thoughts: I picked up a TP-LINK Archer C7, no more internet drop-outs!

Pros: Extremely easy and user friendly to use. Great for beginners or advanced users. I got it on sale in Sept 2015 which I found to be a great value. If I ever have slowness, I know I can't blame the router. Tons of features. I spent a good amount of time researching before purchase and I still found cool features after purchase. Genie app on phone is helpful too. Lot of control over the settings.

Cons: None so far. I disagree with complaints about tightening antennas being difficult. Many complaints about LED brightness, but who cares there is a button to turn them off and I find other router's lights hard to see.

Other Thoughts: All the features I'd expect in a modern router.
