Pros: Fast bootup time. 6 ports in total. One is to be connected to the router, and the other five to whatever you'd like. When I bought this, I was under the impression that I only could connect 4 devices because one port would be for the router.
Cons: Can be taken control of by Decepticons.
...those tricky Decepticons... =P
Other Thoughts: The unit I recieved was all-black. The unit in the picture Newegg advertises is blue-black.
I personally like the all black better. =]

Works really well.

Pros: It doesn't get much better then plug and play. The boot up time is very fast, and there is no management. So there's nothing to worry about setup wise. Don't bother reading the directions, it's the easiest thing to use. Though you only get 5 ports, and you would only get 4 if you intend on using your switch with internet access(which most likely will).
Cons: Didn't realize it was the small form factor switch. If I knew that I probably would have gotten the larger versions of this switch.

10Mbps half duplex maximum
Reviewed By: on 12/16/2009
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: it works ... and i think newegg shipped this order complete before i actually decided to buy.
Cons: if you plan on running more than 10Mbps through this switch, then get a different one. i tried over 20 different lan cards that pull 30Mbps anywhere on my network except behind this switch. only works on 10 half duplex.
Other Thoughts: i love linksys/cisco products, they've worked rock solid for me for years. should put this issue out front so techies can make better decisions.
