Pros: It lit up when I plugged it in. Other than that, there really isn't much to this unit. You can heat your house with it. :)
Cons: This unit is more than likely a defect. It actually ran slower than my 100mbps connection did. Pings across this switch were all over the place. Transfer speeds across the switch were about 8% of advertised speed. It gets really hot. Hopefully its a defect. Getting my money back to buy something else. Not typical Linksys performance in my opinion.
Other Thoughts: Just dislike having to wait to send it back, and get my refund, then buy something new. Takes to long. Never had any problem with any other piece bought from Newegg. Thumbs up to these guys/gals.

Pros: It does just what it is supposed to do. I have this connected to 4 Gbit servers uplinked to a Gbit port on a Dell PowerConnect switch that runs the rest of the office. Since installing this all complaints about slow access to the file servers has gone away. We now easily get multiple full 100Mbit connections to the fileservers with no bottlenecks.
Cons: Not sure if it's really a con, but the power connector is really on the wrong side of the switch for the way the plug is angled. If you want the cord to go behind the switch it lays right across the cables plugged into the ports.
Other Thoughts: Have had it plugged in and running constantly for two days and haven't had any issues or heat problems like some of the other posts have suggested.
